>/v/ says game is good
>you try it
>you don't like it
>explain to /v/ why you don't think its good or better than its predecessors if it has any
>LOL JELLY NEVER EVER HAHA BET YO UDIDNT EVEN PLAY IT FAGGOT LOL STOP BEING POOR
TW3, BB, Splatoon, and MGSV just off the top of my head for this year.
>OP has shitty opinions
I bet he can't even afford those games.
It goes both ways
>anon is shitting on game
>explain why you like it
>well your opinion is objectively literally cuckity cucked wrong
The actual truth is everyone has different tastes and just because you like or dislike something it doesn't suddenly become universally good/bad.
But this is /v/, nobody thinks like this.
>tfw people have different opinions than me
So NONE of those games you listed are good?
I guess it's technically possible that you truly found glaring flaws in all of them, flaws that apparently overshadow the things the games got right, but honestly it just sounds like you being contrarian by picking major titles from every platform.
Problem is (not necessarily pertaining to your case) that people that go in expecting disappointment or low quality often recieve exactly what they expect
It happens with faggots trying to fit in, or conversely with contrarian retards, that go into a game looking for faults, and of course they find them. It's a toxic attitude that ruins one's enjoyment of life
This logical misstep I see a lot on /v/, but the most common real-world example is picky eaters.
Not that guy but that's kind of retarded m8, why exactly would you visit an image board about videogames if you are not going to discuss them?
Opinions should be at least explained though, unsubstantiated opinions (positive or negative) are pretty worthless though, I'll give you that.
To the people that don't realize this, is having different tastes from others actually worth the lack of enjoyment and satisfaction in your hobby.
I personally don't think it's worth sucking the fun out of my own life just to make some random defensive faggots a little frustrated
>people are having a nice conversation about a game
>someone interjects with a 6 paragraph long blog full of misinformation and inaccuracies, about how he didn't like the game
>ranks it among other games in the franchise with the oddity that multiplatform games are better ranked than the exclusive ones
>gets asked if he actually ever played it
>admits he doesn't even own the system the game was released in
>but, of course, has a "friend" that let him "borrow" the system for a couple of days, so he "tried" it long enough for a full synopsis
>has his opinion questioned because he either rushed through 20% of the game with a bias of always looking for flaws because he wants to assure his preferred game on the series is better than this exclusive he doesn't have a lot of access to, or didn't play it at all
>he breaks and just says the whole community is shit
>doesn't care if the game ever goes multiplat anyway, because it's shit
>and also because an unrelated sequel is coming out soon so he'll just play that instead, it's the same thing after all, nothing missed
>it's always a DaS2 fan reviewing bloodborne and in the end, after being shat on, diverting to DaS3 as the superior alternative
>surprised when other people don't share the same opinion
>argue with them about it
>their opinion doesn't change and neither does yours
solution: don't argue over opinions
