>only abominations are low level
>healers level to 3+ super fast because they get used all the time
>only healer available is a level 2 vestal who won't work with abominations
>can't even use a crusader heal
>roster full and already oversaturated with healers
It's a battle of attrition, so:
reliable heal, meaning no Occultist.
You NEED to kill the matchman. Top priority, always. So maximum damage and flexibility is good.
There's a very tiny chance of shuffling(point blank shot from a summoned fat guy that happens to land in row 1 if you're playing the champion version), so Hellion in front row will always be able to hit the matchman no matter where he is, with great damage.
Arbalest will also do fine on row 4 for killing the matchman. She also has a heal for emergency situations.
Bounty Hunter can fit on row two and synergizes with the Arbalest, but you can also place a crusader here for good damage and some heals.
>Blighted Giants in champion dungeons literally have more health and damage than the Hag Witch, the boss of the same dungeon
>they show up in 60-70% of all encounters
>relying on healing
>not abusing cc and killing them before they can damage you
>only use heals to get out of death door
plebs these days, it's more fun if you play on the
CRT and dodge based sword wielding chinaman
Hidden quirk: All combat and camp dialogue is indicepherable moonrunes
Hidden quirk 2: When afflicted speaks in broken english, when abusive speaks in perfect english
>Quick Draw: Strike
o o x x - o o x x
Ronin prepares to strike. If he is attacked by an enemy in the first two rows, he will strike before them, nullifying their attack. Bonus crit chance + applies bleed. Only blocks one attack. +Dodge and +CRT for a few turns aftewards.
>Quick Draw: deflect
x x o o -- o o o o
Puts Ronin into a defense position (+ Prot). If he or any ally behind them is targeted by an enemy, he gets a chance to block (like those guard monsters in the cove), reflect (redirects full damage towards its source), or miss (no effect). Blocking or Reflecting an attack removes the buff for the rest of the round.
x x o o -- o o o o
Attack a single target, move back 2. + Dodge.
o o o x - - o o o x
Attack a single target. This ability gains bonus CRT and damage if used multiple times in succession
o o o o
Self Heal + Stress heal
>Dance of Fūdō
o o o o
>Plus another ability I can't think up right now
Time to ask the stupidest question in the world.
When the game is fully released 10 days from now, can we expect a massive update or will it just be some small shitty patch that changes barely anything?
No weebs allowed in the Darkest Dungeon.
Theory crafting a full dark crit-fest party
Hellions and Arbalist stack crit and speed trinkets so they can fuck shit up first turn, Occultist either mark people for BH to finish off or debuff high damage threats. BH is full utility, allowing burst damage or stun.
Many fall in the face of chaos
BUT NOT THIS ONE
I just lost FOUR level 3 characters to heart attacks.
They were all at around 150~ and between a bunch of misses and party shuffles one hit heart-attack and then the rest went too.
>Going through shitty fucking Coves quest
>my fucking pumped up wasted money on Highwayman gets VIGOROUS
>immediately DEATHBLOWs to bleed
GOD I'M SO FUCKING ANGRY
WHAT A FUCKING SHITTY ITEM TO LOSE MY GUY FOR
>it's a game where if you don't use X combo in all situations, you lose
It would've smart of me to do that.
Instead I wanted to complete the mission, the room I died in was the last room before completion, exploring 90% of all rooms in a long mission.
I nearly had 15K and enough heirlooms to upgrade my weapon forge again
