The PS4 in 12 months just sold more than the Xbox One did in 26 months.
How does the PS4 do it?
Its only 'close' in America. The PS4 has better value internationally than the Xbone does. A lot of the 'cool apps' that makes the xbox have a great online experience aren't available abroad.
Also Microsoft got shit on the first year of sales trying to force stupid bullshit on its customers. They rescinded that shit gradually starting months and months later but by then it was already far too late. Microsoft is only going to do well because of their PC software this generation.
>5.7 million units sold during the holidays
No surprises there.
Sony is the best place to play after all.
There may have been a period of a few weeks they were hard to come by at launch in certain countries, but other than that they have been in ample supply. Sony doesn't pull that artificial scarcity bullshit like Nintendo loves to do.
tfw I will never get a special edition of Fates
Microsoft can't buy Sony because it was founded before the 70's but Sony can sell PlayStation to them or when they go bankrupt they'll have to sell to someone anyway. We're still another 7 or so years from that though.
