Well, duh, the ds had a trillion more users, its obvious there would be more investment.

Yet the 3ds has the best current library between all consoles (ps4,wii u, xbone, vita).

The vita has the second best library atm, but focuses more on quantity rather than quality.

A Link Between Worlds is my favorite game on the system. Get it if you like Zelda or action-adventures in general. If you're in Europe, you can get a new copy for super cheap too as the game is part of the new players' choice series.

I usually don't use the term "comfy" but Kirby Triple Deluxe is just that. If you're looking for an easy platformer with great graphics and music you should get it.

Triforce Heroes is underrated as all hell on /v/. It's one of last year's best games. If you're into co-op games, that is.

If you like JRPGs in general, and FF 5 and Tactics in particular, you should give Bravely Default a try.

It's got a lot of nice JRPGs, if that's your thing, between the Etrian Odyssey games, Rune Factory 4, the SMT games, Bravely Default, Tales of the Abyss if you never played the PS2 version and so on.

after being told by /v/ bravely default is shit, i find it's actually a nice substitute for what modern final fantasy has become
it's a lot more like older FF than i thought it'd be & it's addicting
story/characters/world is boring as fuck so far though, the characters in particular make me want to kill myself, but luckily there's dual-audio if that's your thing
and the nature of the battle system makes difficulty balance kind of weird
for example i was just killing every random encounter on the 1st turn and then the boss of the place LITERALLY took me an hour to beat. used all my phoenix downs and ethers and everything
can't say much if you don't like classic turn based JRPGs though
MH4U is a great entry to the series if you haven't played it yet
and you can grab the ace attorney trilogy if you've never played those games

I recently installed a CFW on my n3DS. It was gathering dust and now that i can get those for free i'm astonished at how bad the library is.

Get the various Layton games, Ace Attorney, Fantasy Life.
FF Curtain Call if that's your jam, Bravely Default, FF EXplorers and that's all.

my personal top 10 in no particular order: kid icarus uprising, smt4, kingdom hearts 3d, persona q, xenoblade chronicles (if you have the new 3ds), devil summoner overcocked (have the 2nd, just havent beaten it yet), loz oot (didnt care for majoras mask, since im not a fan of timed games), animal crossing, sm4sh, pokemon omega/alpha remakes
