WHERE'S THE UPDATE
Soon. Let them take their time with it, it's shaping up to be something special and the more time they take to hone it, the more special it will be.
Probably around the length of Pirate's Curse for each character, give or take.
It'll probably be the same length as SatPC, if not longer.
>Scuttle Town/Sequin Land
Also, the update will probably be tomorrow, like usual.
They're waiting for this to be official.
I'll fuck you up, then lick Sky's asshole.
I hope we get to see her parents in this one in some form
Risky has been center stage on all 3 games so far. She's already got quite a bit going on, anon.
More backstory than the whole Pirate Master thing? I guess they could explain what she had going on before all that, but it's probably not terribly relevant to her life now.
I hope the game comes out in the spring at least. I discovered the series last fall and blew through all of them in like a week, it's been too long, I wanna play more.
we can hope for some more nice Japanese Shantae artwork
This. I mean all we know is she became a pirate and was somehow mentored by the evil badguy of PC before she took over. Hell, we don't even know exactly how she managed to take over or exactly how the pirate master died, and we don't really know the relationship she had with Shantae's mom or how she got into pirating in the first place.
>in b4 Risky is Shantae's older half sister
Also, wouldn't say Shantae is a game that circles heavily around its story.
The shade out guy in the underworld is implied to be Shantae's dad. He's also not implied to be dead, he just got lost.
"While nothing is directly mentioned in confirmation, it is implied that the Warrior may in fact be Shantae's long-lost human father, though this is kept vague due to his being unable to properly remember anything. He also bears heavy resemblance to the video game character Karnov. Given his descriptions of events similar to Karnov's gameplay, theme music similarity to Karnov, and fixation on ladders, this is likely intentional."
We are not the only ones thinking like this.
>the most poignant moment of the game went completely over his head
