I tried Age of Empires back when I was a kid. Do people still play this online?
fucking hate this board
Why is this brought up like it's a big deal? Every region in the world has had a king or some kind of equivalent at some point, with the exception of native americans because they existed through confederations.
There were black kings, big deal. Unless YOU are directly descended from a king, you're just ridiing off the coattails of another's legacy.
Ain't played it in a while but the custom game modes were brilliant. GoT, CBA, RPG, Zombies dunno if people still play them. Hopefully they do cause you could spend hours on a single game of GoT if you had good ping and people who knew how to play it. I remember playing as the Tullys as a 4 hour match, 2 of which I spent trying to fend of the iron isle and his fucking longboats. Jesus christ they're so OP. 2 hours of battle over a dispute over who was entitled to a gold mine spot. Great fun.
It's from stupid history revisionisits who are rewriting basically everyone important in history to be black, WE WUZ KINGZ is mocking them. I should note that all of these people are specifically west africans, with them completely ignoring that africa is the most genetically diverse continent on the planet and people on other sides of it are as distant from them as whites are from african-americans
Many of the slaves brought to the Americas were descendants of royalty. Do you think it's right to rob someone of their status and wealth and use them as forced labor and pretend their culture and ancestry never existed?
>Do you think it's right to rob someone of their status and wealth and use them as forced labor and pretend their culture and ancestry never existed?
Yes, because you defeated them.
That's because Ethiopia consists largely of a back to Africa migration. Their culture and language is Middle Eastern.
>every asian Genghis Khan
Some people living in Europe can do that too.
>Went to store to rent games back when I was a kid
>Store had a interior lan house
>Bunch of people all playing AoE2
>See game and get fascinated, but never find out much later when I bought it years after
Some games are just magical.
No it's because the mountains around Ethiopia meant that land-wise it was cut off from most of Africa, but it had heavy influence from the rest of the world due to it being in the heart of sea trade routes and had many port cities.
Vae victis came from when Brennus of the Gauls sacked Rome and said they had to pay ransom for their city, and when they did he added onto the price with the latin version of "tough shit, i won". Learn your history.
>Who needs shit with a STEM degree
Because people who don't learn from the mistakes of it end up repeating it.
>Enjoy your burger flipping, faggot.
Sorry, I don't live in a country where that's the path for that degree. I became a clerk in a government office like most do.
And then he got BTFO when a roman army attacked him during the negotiations.
>not by gold, but by iron, is the nation to be recovered
