That might sound weird especially because it was an MMO but I really loved the old style Daoc bow mechanics. It was just a couple of key presses but there was something to it I cannot really name. It felt like there was weight behind each shot, great feedback when you hit something, I dunno, hard to convey really.

I'm going to get hammered for this one, but I think Sheva's bow in Resident Evil 5 was very satisfying. When I was playing co-op everyone would scramble over ammo and I'd be chillin' and killin'.

I liked shooting shit but aiming with a controller is like a women pissing standing up.

I don't like Dark Souls 2, but the bow and arrow combat is far more satisfying and viable than DaS1. I was disappointed to shit when I played DaS1 and found that bow and arrow fucking sucked for anything other than pulling enemies.

You just need to get good. I only have CPP for the comfy grip and never use the other stick for anything in MH even when I play gunner.

Good way to learn how to play any weapon in the MH games is just go through low rank with one type of weapon.
