I have the 2 following options
2)SMT Devil Survivor +Conception 2
What would you pick and why? Also anyone played the games?
Option 2 is 10$ less
Option 2, and I'm even one of the few that likes PQ.
If you want a dungeon crawler, go for EO4, it's way better.
I liked Persona Q but I never finished it because it didn't hold my interest long enough. I'd probably recommend devil survivor as long as you're up for a challenge. I recommend devil survivor 2 more though. That's one of my favorite SMT games.
I've never played Persona 3 and 4 and I loved PQ.
Amazing music, cute characters and felt really good beasting the bosses with overpowered skills. Just like in EO.
Just fucking listen. This electronic track is sweet as hell
I don't even feel like it mattered. All character relationships were introduced and it's very clear that Persona Q takes place before anything significant even happens in Persona 3 or 4. There was nothing that spoiled me about what happens in those games at all.
I caved and bought P4G yesterday, my first purse owner game ever. I knew it was different from the mainline SMT games and spinoffs, but I wasn't quite expecting all the... words. I'm liking it quite a bit thus far. Should I just put another round in the chamber and grab P3 as well?
>Because it gives a completely wrong idea about the chararcters and their motivations
This would be a complaint about the game itself. So the character motivations are inconsistent. Well, guess what? I didn't notice since I played Persona Q first.
More like a good reason to NOT play Persona 3 and 4 first in that case.
>not to mention that several things will go over your head
Since I didn't notice anything significant, this doesn't matter either. Nothing about the character interaction or story is difficult to comprehend.
>Since I didn't notice anything significant, this doesn't matter either
How can you possibly know this?
You haven't even played P3 of P4 so how can you know what is important or not?
>More like a good reason to NOT play Persona 3 and 4 first in that case.
So you are saying that its better to play first the spin off that gives you wrong impressions about the characters (and is a worse game that p3 and p4) first.
Flawless logic anon.
>. Well, guess what? I didn't notice since I played Persona Q first.
That's exactly the problem, your first exposure to the characters is in a game that makes them caricatures of themselves
Basically your point is: Don't play Persona Q because it is worse than Persona 3 and 4
I get that, but that is completely meaningless to me.
Going into PQ I was worried that it would spoil P3 and P4 in terms of story, but nothing I read really supported that. And it fucking doesn't do that at all.
So I started with what you think is the weakest entry and loved it. And you say the others are even better. Sounds like a win to me.
Stop putting words in my mouth, faggot
PQ is fine but not as your first exposure to persona, it's a fucking fanservice game
>gameplay comes first
The gameplay is broken as fuck.
Either way, playing a spinoff without knowing anything of the main games is stupid and not to be encouraged
wow that's some shit taste you got there
