Hello anons. I must confess I'm about to switch from PC to PS4 because it's too fucking expensive to afford a decent rig in my third world country.
Talk me out of it.
Overall, it's better to upgrade your PC. You'll get better performance and it'll be cheaper, as the games on PC are usually cheaper and it's easier and more efficient to pirate them on PC. But if you really can't afford it, then there's nothing wrong with that. You'll get worse performance, but that's not the of the world. There's Bloodborne and other cool exclusives coming to PS4.
Most people dont differentiate beetween wanting and needing something.
Most people dont need more than a 380 but they want a 980ti.
What I'm going at is that you dont really top of the line PC.
Why would I talk you out of a great decision?
go for it
>"i-it's your fault! Modern games are great! Just look at all those gta clones and and movie games with 5 hour tutorials!"
Yeah sure. But this is /v/ where people unorinically think that tr4sh is better than melee.
Just looking at steam:
>The Division: $60
>GTAV still $60
>F4 still $60
>R6:S still $60
AAA games like sitting there, regardless of platform or format.
>Missing the Steam Sale we had JUST 4 DAYS AGO
Sorry should have known this was Bait. People don't go on switching from PC to PS4 unless they had all of their friends on PS4, and that is unlikely as well.
says "playstation and PC" not "PS4"
sure. It's the exact same list, feel free to remove all good games and remain with the shit
>implying pc games are the only ones with sales.
christ, I picked up bloodborne for 10 bucks on black friday.
also used games are a thing when physical is still widely used on your platform.
Never really said PC games were the only ones on sale, but even you gotta admit were far better than those on consoles.
I own an XBone, and that thing only got the most recent games on sale for like 25% off or 50% off max, and older games still were full price like H:MCC.
(Don't know about PS4, but I know for a fact sales on PS3/Vita was complete shit, and PSP games were still full price)
Its true, console sales don't typically beat PC sales.
But being able to sell your physical copies after you're done can certainly make up the difference.
I'm an idort, and I will always, always go physical if its an option.
it's basically shitposting from all walks of gaming.
i own a ps4 and shitpost about console gaming all the time. it's just fun to strike nerves on neo /v/ with reddit memes and modern warfare 2 "nostalgia" and classic RE tank controls. these are the best topics to shitpost about and gets everyone real mad, throw in some bloodborne and BAM you got a cocktail of asshurt.
i'm from a third world country too and consoles are fucking expensive, you are retarded or just false flagging
>I'm poor and can't afford decent PC so I decided to switch to system where buying 5-6 games will cost me same amount of money that said decent PC!
If you are THAT retarded, you deserve your punishment. Go and buy PS4.
>Switching from PC to PS4
There's no such thing like this, you can't live without a PC
>inb4 underage gaymer
If you did things right, the money you'd be shelling out for a current Gen console, plus games, accessories, PSN etc would be better spent on a PC upgrade
Only go PS4 if you like 10 of the system's exclusives
>Never really said PC games were the only ones on sale, but even you gotta admit were far better than those on consoles.
A few years ago, sure.
Now publishers are doing everything they can to make PC as unappealing as consoles.
no games here in Brazil are $60 when they come out.
Example: Rise of the Tomb Raider is R$130 right now, or $32. $60 would be R$240.
Console games are always $60 or more (usually more)
