i vastly prefer the selection of fighting games on the PS2
not really a negative. not like a big amount of crap games reduced the amount of good games
that is very subjective, i think MGS2 and 3 are better than any game on gamecube
only real point
Sure thing, OP. I love my PS2 to a point it's almost embarrassing.
I've moved since taking this picture and got a couple of titles more, so all I need to rearrange my collection and take a new one at some point.
I was recommended to get Onimusha in last thread I was in and so I did. Anything else, besides Onimusha sequels of course?
>shit mgs versions
>no champions of norrath/return to arms
>no tekken tag
just to name a few.
Haunting Ground for:
>Clock Tower style of gameplay
>retard giant who becomes old really quick
>intense psychological story
>AI controlled dog companion
Project Zero for:
Frankly. Get this game and its sequels. The series is fucking awesome.
Friendly reminder that you can softmod your ps2 by installing freemcboot on your memcard, or even just go as simply as ordering a modded memcard online.
>can connect your ps2 to your pc or laptop and boot ISO files off your hard drive
>can connect your ps2 to an external (or internal hdd depending on the ps2 console you have) and play games straight off it
>can even boot games off flashdrives though loading times are a bit slower
Also, friendly remidner #2 to ignore bootyblasted NGC kiddies
>B-BUT GAME CUBE DOESNT HAVE SHOVELWARE
pic related faggot
>I greatly dislike your organizational skills
How would you do it?
Getting these two today
I got god hand for a really good price with everything , now it's more than retail used
Also, jap cover for Seek and destroy is way better
>AI controlled dog companion
I'm not entirely sure what to think of this.
AI companions are majority of the time horrible and now you have one that's supposed to act like a dog?
>No Substance/Subsistence version
>DMC3 but no Special Edition
It's like you're building this collection for hipster cred instead of actually playing the games. Be honest how many of those games have you actually played?
>tfw never knew there are still servers up for RE Outbreak and .hack and other games
80% of them honestly. The most I've bought and played at the release. Old fuck here.
>It's like you're building this collection for hipster cred
>full backwards compatibility
>easy as fuck to softmod
a bit biased but
>bemani games released up until 2009
I gotta put the money on a DAO sometime soon. I'm rustier than a motherfucker.
Hewie is such a good dog though. AI acts pretty naturally most of the time.
The dog AI is fine. The dog follows your instructions and never really wanders around on its own. If it does something stupid it's because you put it in danger and told it to do something stupid
Thanks for this anon.
None of the new games coming out look interesting to me and like most that are out, on release they will probably be a buggy shitty mess until they are patched months after launch.
Im going back to the ps2 while the modern shit sorts itself out, and needed a list of all the stuff that I missed at the time
>while the modern shit sorts itself out
>never acts on his own
>strictly follows given instructions
>if it makes mistakes, it's only because you made it make stuff that lead to those mistakes
So, basically is not an AI.
>but you do need to get a Sony PS2 network adapter for the fa
If you can connect your PS2 to your modem/router, or directly to a PC with a crossover cable, you don't strictly need to have the network adapter, you can safely load(at full speed, not USB 1.0 speed) games off a HDD connected to your PC.
