And here I thought we could could have a nice Mother thread.
Maybe we can salvage it, what's your favorite game and your favorite things from each?
>>322966402
they both are
Is this a actual mother thread or a shitpost thread?
>>322966491
i agree
>>322966573
Seems to be just a shitpost one, but that's no reason not to try and save it.

i have a hard time deciding between 2 and 3 but i'd say 3 probably wins out. i loved the rhythm combo system and the story and music were both top notch.

This will forever be my favorite song from any vidya. How the series starts and ends with it is so fittingI BELIEVE THE MORNING SUN

This is one of my favorites.

Someone once pointed out that the horns played in this are the same horn sounds Miracle Fassad makes when he talks.

Definitely my personal favorite theme.

My favorite is actually the first. I think it's the one that balances between sci-fi/fantasy the best, and I love the way it manages to convey its plot so powerfully considering the hardware it's on. The open world also feels neat, and it's a world I actually had fun exploring from rural to urban areas. It does have some awfully ancient mechanics, and some real bullshit stuff going on throughout it, but I can't help but love it. Even its soundtrack, while small, is the best the series has if you ask me. Many of the tracks feel like they're actually written as proper songs that you normally wouldn't put in a video game. Mother 2 and 3 kind of delved away from this style of composing a bit. But I digress. I love all the Mother games, but it's just the one that hit closest to the heart.
