It looks like /v/'s favorite youtuber has finally made his own game
I remember Seven Days a Skeptic. Decent story and atmospheric for what it was, but I couldn't get through some of the more convoluted puzzles without a guide.
Hatfall's good for a few laughs, but obviously gets repetitive after a while.
Quite liked Consuming Shadow. Fun variation in exploring and piecing together clues.
>/v/'s favorite youtuber
/v/ doesn't have a favorite anything
Except Steve Jobs had a public image; he made public appearances, etc.
Yahtzee makes videos he doesn't actually appear in. He could be wearing a propeller beanie while recording his videos for all we know.
>So even he was affected by the "lol fedoras" meme.
Well, considering what the average fedora wearer looks like these days, even a rational person isn't going to wear one.
You do realize Yahtzee does actually make public appearances at conventions and runs his own bar, right? He does appear in public, but like the other anon pointed out he's been phasing out the trilby thanks to the public perception of the fedora.
Or maybe he doesn't "replace" it with anything.
Also just because he stops wearing trilby in person, doesn't mean he wouldn't have his cartoon avatar keep it.
He has more games about lovecraftian horrors than about hats, so that's where his real obsessions are.
To be fair, Yahtzee pretty much stole Cabadath from Blood 2
there are actualy a few gags that go beyond the whole game of picking hats
if you buy hunter mode, you enter a survival mode that ends in a dumb "bear management" mode where you make tough moral decision
and there is an item that unlock a dating simulator where you date a hat
Yes but the gags last 30 seconds and there's only like 8 of them. Not to mention that the grind for unlocks is unbearable, holy fuck.
I bought Consuming Shadow, but fuck buying Hatfall.
Did anyone else get a "pg-13 furry fetish webcomic" vibe from this?
