>game starts with playable cutscene
>Game starts with an unskippable cutscene
>Which leads to the unskippable tutorial
OP is a barneyfag
Pic is a writer from the show
>game starts you off with a ton of powers
>you lose all your powers in the next scene
>or the entire game takes place before you got all of your powers
>Game starts in the last chapter and you're overpowered as fuck
>Play until a certain point and suddenly your character has flashbacks to earlier times
I'm getting tired of this, God of War started with a cutscene like that but still annoys me.
Another poster got it in the thread.
It can't be that obscure.
>final boss is unbeatable
>you need to trigger specific events to make him vulnerable or else his HP doesn't reach 0
he is a shitposter from /mlp/ trying to start shit, ignore him
was there any occasion where those two merged together didn't felt like shit? It always feels like a bad movie that you can enjoy without losing because you missed that one quick time event
I fought the final boss of shadow tower till all my weapons were on the verge of breaking, then I checked the bestiary and found out I needed to find his heart or something in another room
>opening cutscene shows the player about to fall to his death
>the gameplay takes place before that scene
>get to the point in the game where the opening cutscene is supposed to take place
>he wasn't in any real danger
>First enemy is the final boss
>Game starts off with an unwinnable battle
>In New Game Plus you can win the battle easily and go straight to the credits, skipping the whole game
>have to sit through credits to a postcredits scene
>said credits are over 30 minutes with every person thanking everyone including their fucking cat
I don't know man. When God Of War 2 does it it's perfectly alright.
The game's about revenge anyways. Zeus taking away your god status only fuels your rage. "fuck that guy he took all my stuff"
>you will never fuck the giraffe from My Gym Partner's a Monkey
>game starts out with unwinnable boss
>He is actually winnable if you're really good
>If you beat him, then the story takes a completely alternate path and there's basically a completely new game
>only .1% of the people who played this game every knew about the 50% rest of the game
>the 50% that everyone played took 30 hours and was so polished and unforgettable that no one cares
>the other 50% is just as good without compromising quality
Seriously I hate that shit.
Fuck you devs.
