Probably no, it's a looting game like Diablo or Borderlands.
You constantly need to craft new spells and min-maxing shit takes time and some patience. You can get away with Smart Inventory and its autoupgrade spells function and it actually does a very good job with components you have on hands, but it can't craft neat shit like 100% crit chance or gaining Apocalypticas left and right.

If you deal with crafting new spells it still takes some strategy on the battlefield.

I infected that Vile enemy with parasites with Corruption Mastery so they incubate inside it for ten seconds and then emerge as a flying turd shitting debuffing flies that would help me deal with further enemies. I then lifted it into air with Kinesis Control to let them incubate peacefully while I deal with other enemies.

There's a fuckton of weapons and the hacking is pretty fun to use in combat and as a stealth option. It's pretty fun to run through the game at least once. It's invasion system is pretty fun too.

I'm trying to 100% it right now though and it gets tedious as fuck. A lot of the side missions are all the same, most rewards are just audio logs, and there are some weird design choices like not being able to fire out of a car.
