What's a good headset for gaming? My current one(Pic related, got it as a gift) has broken, and I'm in the market for a new one. It's not bad, but it's overpriced as shit, and I'm not interested in getting another. I do like being able to independently control the chat, and game audio though, is there any other, more reasonably priced headsets that have that feature? Or if not, just some good, affordable ones?

Sorry, let me rephrase to avoid triggering you.
"A headset to use while I simultaneously voice chat with my friends, and play videogames."
Is that better, you autistic fuck?

99% of them break after a couple of years.
Using a good headset with a clip on mic is always a better option

That seems like an interesting option, though I feel like I'd miss having mute and sound control in-line.

Steelseries elite prism, I won them and theyre amazing.
headphones + mic stand is the cheapest and best combo but if you really want the best value headset, then get a hyper x cloud.
just buy some good headphones and a 5€ micro you dildo
if "gaming" headsets are so bad can some of you suggest actual non-gaming products in the same price range then? whenever I look at these options theyre much higher in price and have no mic with them or look like they would break into pieces when I touch them.
