It's only semibait. Comparing a pipe pistol to the .223 is silly, but it's a reasonable point of criticism. Weapons in Fallout 1 and 2 (and some in New Vegas) are fairly futuristic and clean looking but Bethesda just decided to take the super rustic approach even though their games take place even further in the future than 1 and 2.

click with me. I am however still looking forward to Cyberpuunk 2077, which I hope will have the
same depth as the Witcher, but be set in the future so we have much more variety in the combat.
