WoW pretty much always has people around for RP.
Not sure if Wildstar has any left.

ESO is pretty good for Roleplaying. My murderous Argonian Templar has a blast in that game.

Just keep in mind that console communication is Microphone based only. It's a good thing, though, since it keeps the tides lf ERPing faggots at bay.

Wildstar has the best options IMO, but it's just not popular. How transmogrification and player housing works as well as a more interesting world and character creation options all make it the better option, but again it's just not a popular game for some reason even though it's completely free to play now.

I love housing, so that's why i was even considering Wildstar and, especially; FFXIV.
But if the Rp community is way larger on WoW, i guess i'll have to try my hand there.
But aren't they both server based? I mean, how many Rpers are on a FFXIV server compared to a WoW server

You can always try out free WoW. It limits you to max level 20 among other things, but you can still use /say and emotes I think which is all you need for at least trying out RP. And an addon like MRP (MyRolePlay) helps a lot with finding players, and it's often a good idea for F2P accounts to state that they are on F2P for others (because you can't invite other players to party, but they can invite you, etc).
Of course it'll be difficult to RP in higher level areas than 20, but you'd probably only need to do that if you joined an active guild or something anyway. Just for trying it out without paying $15 a month (or paying for the entire game and expacs if you don't already own them) though, a free account is good enough really.
