Hey, /v/, got a question for you.
Take your favorite online game, and your favorite group of people to play it with. There is now a 14 year old boy who a few people have invited into the group. Do you give a shit? Or are you weirded out as fuck?
Despite the M label on most games, more and more kids are playing videogames online, and some of them are actually pretty good. That said, should there be a line between the generations? Or does it not matter online?
I'm going to kind of hijack your topic
I'm 29, I have two 10 year olds (twins) boy and girl. Do you think it's wrong that I show favoritism towards my daughter when it comes to gaming? I definitely play with her more and team up on my son with her. I am definitely trying to make more of a gamer out of her than him.
Very wrong. If I went out with my buds and one brought a kid we'd never talk to him again.
Very very wrong. Besides the fact you're trying to make a gamer gurl, you should never ever show favoritism, more importantly never EVER pit them against each other.
Put them on a team against you. Force them to put their heads together to beat you, and they will make each other better gamers, but chances are your daughter will shine better that way because they are much more emotionally inclined to impress their father's than boys are.
But by giving her special treatment you're teaching her girls deserve special treatment. Stop that shit.
Depends, is he cute?
You shouldn't have reproduced, not to mention all that will accomplish is bring the competitive side out of your son - you know, because boys and men have that, while women don't, so your endeavour is worthless.
But then you had kids at 19, you have bigger issues than which of your children will be gamers
In theory its fine, but it's really not alrght in the long run.
Had a great guild in WoW, but had a Deathknight join at one point, and when he got on voicechat it was really obvious he was pretty young, maybe 13? It was funny at first, but it kinda made people uncomfortable, it's just odd hanging with your friends with a kid listening to you, you know?
When we had a meeting about just blocking him from the chat server though we got some seeerious pushback from two officers who kept blabbing about how we were open to everyone and all that, but it was just creepy how much they hung out. It ended up breaking the entire guild apart.
Hey Op, you left out the fact that the 14 year old is literally posting on 4chan about how he's 14 and everyone should deal with it, and that the teamspeak he's on is a 4chan teamspeak.
We're having this argument over at /vg/ rainbow six siege thread. Countless people want the fucking kid kicked from the teamspeak, yet the admin is defending keeping the 14 year old boy around. I'm honestly thinking he's a pedophile now
I had a 12 year old join a CSGO match in 2012 and he kicked ass using his mic only to help the team, some 15 year old tried to kick him for squeaking when the kid was top fragging and he was bottom fragging
why would the person making the poll, the same person who want's the kid kicked bias the poll against the kid getting kicked. and if he did he's just a retard,
well that's the been proven.
>Some kid in my Payday 2 crew
As long as he isn't a shitter and can shoot cops then whatever. I turn my voice chat volume down all the way to hear the music better anyway.
