I shot actual guns for the first time the other day.
Now that I know what that's like, what are some first person shooters with good gunplay that really captures the power and kickback of actual firearms?
Single or multiplayer, doesn't matter to me.
RO2 and thats it.
Any modern shooter with freeaim desu, but they rarely make them, your only hope is to wait for Rising Storm 2:Vietnam
>reloading with your finger that close to the trigger
>reloading when there is no immediate need to shoot somebody
range hero detected
>not making sure you're ready for contact by checking your gear and loading up a fresh mag
Wow someone doesn't want to come home from war
Those people are not terrorists, friend.
Insurgency firearms is a lifeless mess, they destroyed them trying to balance shit out.
umm but i do load new shells in clip just not after every shot cause loading takes a few seconds but i always press 2 (default bind for pistol) to draw pistol because drawing is faster than reloading
>guns have retarded recoil so it must be realistic
I fired a .45 the other day and it was horrifying. It was like holding death in my hand. I hated pulling the trigger but my father was standing behind me and I didn't want to appear weak. I had to force myself to keep going. Guns are very loud and the one I shot kicked a lot. It was draining.
>tfw would play House of the Dead like this
would put my fingers in front of the gun so I didn't have to re-aim too
shit was still pretty hard, especially when you hadn't memorized everything yet, and the gun wasn't entirely calibrated
I remember when I shot my first gun, I think I was around 12-13 and my brother took me to a range, started with a .22 then a 9mm. I wanted to try a .45 but my hands wouldn't fit around the grip.
Guns are fun, I wish I went to the range more often.
Insurgency has a really good sound design. Check it out if you have a chance.
