What the fuck is the goal of singleplayer I've running

Become a mercenary of a faction and help their armies fight other proper armies, eventually become a lord and acquire fiefs, then rebel and start taking land.

Especially if oyu can combine it with selling random shit for a higher price in the city where it's held.

You can go to any arena and ask about local tournaments. Bet on yourself and win. Once you have enough money, invest in a dye works. Keep up this routine until you're fucking rich, then buy your way into having a great army. Also invest in trainer or get a hero with trainer, that way your soldiers upgrade fast as fuck.
Don't mix soldiers, and don't fight a country with its own soldiers, it fucks their morale.

Stop hiring mercenaries and overpaying their salaries while you're poor. You need to visit villages and hire cheaper recruits there, and when you fight battles hire any prisoners you can afford. Build a decent fighting force so bandits and deserters can't clean you out, and build capital.

Okay lad first thing I do is recruit peasants and fight bandits for their loot and to train my men, I do not take on too many initially to keep cost low but when they upgrade they are very soon more than a match for bandits. As I accumulate money I start to grow my army and get better gear, once you reach around 40 men I start raiding villages since once you do this the money really starts flowing and normally I raid villages that are part of a kingdom at war with the one I'm planning on becoming a vassal of. When you have enough decent men to equal or outnumber a enemy lord you start taking the fuckers out and soon will be accepted as a vassal of your chosen empire. From here you can capture a castle or city and start your own faction or fight for an existing one.

Viking Conquest is bloody hard. Especially on normal difficulty

Fighting one is a cakewalk but even two wreck my shit I've I'm not extremely careful or a coward

Raiding villages is a fucking retarded thing to do, it limits your recruiting options. Best thing to raid is caravans, since then only the faction hates you, and not your source of troops.

I don't even mind bannerlord never coming out

I bought this game a while back and worked just fine, got well over 100 fps even with huge armies battling.
Now it drops to single digits even in smaller crowds and very rarely stays above 50 fps.
Any idea what could be the cause of this?
