>>322422503 Me too. Completed 1 today as my first completed ps4 game. Going to 100% it over the next few days. Crushing difficulty is actually hella hard...Almost done with the rest of the shit though.
>>322422298 definitely. 3 was nothing but 'epic' setpieces with no story or character. 2 on the other hand represented everything that made uncharted awesome: character interactions. the banter between nat, chloe and elena was pure gold. I fucking loved the love triangle as well.
>>322424196 I just can't play a game and not get all achievements. I guess it's a problem.
>>322422952 Nah. Going back, 1 had a much better story, inferior gunplay. That would come down to "Le story>gameplay" meme Undertale enforced. But other than gunplay, I find myself loving every other part of gameplay in uncharted 1 over uncharted 3.
Uncharted 1 is absolutely terrible in comparison to 2/3, it felt like a wave shooter with a story. I don't even consider it part of the series, I think of it as a proof of concept pitched in order to get funding for U2
>>322422298 currently trying to get through the first, i feel like every time i blink a new set of enemies spawn, also the characters act incredibly odd, does the reporter seriously not understand that they are getting fucking shot at and its not worth her life for the shots she wants? like shit she has no self preservation and thinks its all in drakes head
finished 1 in the collection. the enemies just felt dull throughout but overall it was good. started 2 today and im liking it so far. reminds of Crash bandicoot in a way which is awesome, prolly just the good naughty dog touch.
>>322430114 Because in 3 he had a personal stake in it. He was out to prove something, even if he wasn't quite sure what it was. Then of course like every other time Elena ends up reminding him of what's actually important and gets him back on track. It's not the most original thing ever but I really do like their relationship and how it's written.
>>322432037 3 was the B-team coming up with setpieces first and a story later while the studio's main talent worked on TLOU. >>322432207 Or maybe he didn't like them and feels his opinion is objective. Or maybe he's looking to start shit. Or maybe you're looking to start shit.
1 is honestly one of the worst games I have ever played in my entire life. 2 is mediocre. Didn't understand the hype behind it while playing. 3 was incredible in every single way. It improved everything from the other games.
Basically, 1 is shit, 2 fixed 1, and 3 mastered 2.
>>322434037 But 2 remembered to give setpieces a sense of purpose and place in the story. 3 just takes you on a tour of cool things the designers thought up, 2 sends you on a journey through a much more competent 4th Indiana Jones movie than the one we got.
