Played it for the first time a few months ago, not knowing the eneimes infinite respawn.

Stupid.

Bayonetta. Easy was TOO easy, with auto-combos spoiling the fun, but normal was too hard for me, with Grace and Glory fucking my shit up hard.

Bayonetta 2 I practically slept through in comparison. Normal was just about right, maybe a little too easy. I should go back and try hard difficulty for a proper comparison.
