Actually yeah, it's not that great. Play Europa Universalis if you want an actual strategy game where a naval nation is relevant.

Pretty bad. You should at least have 2 or 3 fleet because there is nothing worse than your balance tanking because a single arrow boat is raiding your trade routes.

The main problem with navies in Shogun 2 is the AI suffers no penalty for being blockaded, they still get their money and free units on not piss easy difficulties.

At least they fixed it in Fall of the samurai. Bombarding is super OP in some cases.

It caused a ton of Horde players to pay $55 to transfer to Alliance and caused a huge imbalance in the game, and Blizz can't nerf it or suffer the wrath of the 400,000 neckbeards that still play WoW.

Janisarries heal to full on kill, which is fucking amazing. The bonus stays on when you upgrade them to modern era too
