Super responsive controls.
Instant respawn.
Fun music.
challenging levels.
Addictive.

The idea of showing all your deaths is kinda ingenious, i don't know if that was the first platformer to do that but either way it's such a cool thing.

Even though there are difficult parts, this game never frustrated me because you can gradually feel yourself getting better as you play more and learn the physics.

It came out before the indiepocalypse, when people actually put effort into their games and weren't just making another first person survival/building game with zombies to put on early access.
