>playing as anyone other then qt operators
Strange because I've grown quite found of the asthmatic wheezing from my qt operators. Now I almost exclusively use them just so I can hear those sweet breathes of life coming froth from their mouths.
if I close up on their faces it just looks really bad
Every once in a while I think about switching over to the Japanese voices just so I can use soldiers with that voice set without the wheezing. Maybe I should. It'd mean I'd get a brand new set of you're going to extract him/boss get down/the enemy gunship lines, too, so that'd be another plus.

No wonder this place is filled with kissless anime loving virgins
I really wish this game had more to the story. I know this isn't what this threads about but fuck me if it doesn't break my heart a little bit to see screenshots of the game that could have been.
I agree, but the game was still exceptional. People focus too much on what they thought it would be and don't realize how massive and well-done the game is.
They sound alright.
>deyre games it's about da gameplay
Da gameplay in the first chapter of the game that's well focussed and quickly falls apart in the open world?
If this was revengeance id agree, fuck story, make it all about gameplay, but MGS was never a "it's all about the gameplay" game
People liked it because it had both, save for 4 which had too much going on.
Konami and kojima hired jack bauer and kojimas Swiss waifu for this project. they close the demo with a bomb in the lasagna and 2 dead kids on snakes hands. the trailer implies snake burns down a fucking village and trains child soldiers, snake smears ashes of his dead comrades on his face and tortures those who were previously his friends. they introduce fucking liquid and psycho mantis. They hype up a grand finale with skull face that never truly comes. hell, peace Walker had a better final payoff. the phantom pain was never intended to be a "fuck story I want gameplay" game and its very evident by how konami canned kojima and threatened to sue if he set foot at the video game awards.
