I want to get into Binding of Isaac. I've heard the DLC for Rebirth (Afterbirth) makes the game considerably worse or something and doesn't add much.
So I'm wondering if I should buy Rebirth and Afterbirth right off the bat or just Rebirth?
Pic unrelated but sorta related. I want it.
Afterbirth makes a lot of item combinations work like they should've the first time they "totally fixed the game" and adds a bunch of pretty fun items. So it's sort of an improvement.
But the problem is that there's almost no new content. 99% of the new enemies are old enemies but this time they shoot revenge bullets when they die or spawn more enemies when they die, and usually both. Aside from that there are 2 or 3 bosses that are slightly different versions of old bosses and a couple texture swaps for the levels.
The biggest feature is greed mode where you just fight waves and waves of enemies for money to buy upgrades that help you beat the waves faster but not the last boss who's health scales with your damage. After you have a chance to donate money into the machine that unlocks items for each character that make the game far easier and eventually a new character who's gimick is recovering health with money.
>Tfw own several loli onaholes but no good trap or shota onaholes.
Also just get Rebirth people are just being retarded because of how many times this game has been rereleased.
>that feel when your a broke ass motherfucker and don't own any
Income taxes soon though.
>no good trap or shota onaholes
