It's the same game, but the expansion is pretty good. The main fault of DS2 is the level design and the souls memory but it's bearable. It's better than 90% of the garbage coming out today.

I just upgraded my DS2 to the Scholar Edition.

Joined the Blue Sentinels because I thought a trillion people bought the game and get invaded/are invading and I can easily rank up.
