I'm honestly indifferent toward screen resolution (unless it's something egregious like the 3DS XL and its fuckhuge pixels). Framerate on the other hand is important for every genre except perhaps turn-based gameplay.

The jump from 720p to 1080p isn't as dramatic as the jump from 30fps to 60fps.

Resolution doesn't matter if the game still has aliasing up the ass.
