I fucking love this game and I'm only 8 hours in. Please, Capcom make a proper sequel
I feel you. I almost can't play it anymore because I just need new areas to explore and new enemies to fight. Is DDO any decent if it makes it to the west, can't be bothered with VPN shit
Well have fun then, it's one hell of a game. As for me, more than the fact that I'll be able to play fps knight with 60fps on pc, I'm looking forward to a revived pawn community.
It was kinda sad going back to the game a few months ago and never getting rents for my pawn.
I did play DDO on the beta and for a bit after release.
The MMO cancer runs too deep in it. The combat is fine, however the skill system is asinine and the grab mechanics are not as satisfying. because bosses are damage sponges and more often than not are immune to "climbing damage".
I recommend waiting, anon. it's a hassle to get it working, patched and running. And it's not worth it imo, unless you like the MMO modus operandi of questing and "exploration".
Not him, but it makes sense to me now. After a while I just started equipping with a fashion first sense, even with my weapons and even though I had all kinds of BBI gear.
Of course if I just felt like face rolling some gorecyclopses I'd deck out in proper gear.
Hm. I haven't. Actually the vast majority of posts I see from new players are things like "BBI is too hard (but I haven't gone to Gran Soren yet)" or "How do I get passed these bandits".
Though of course someone could absolutely ruin it for themselves if they rushed a BBI Weapon Lv.1 and went back to Gransys. Haven't actually seen a new player talk about doing that though.
The difficulty ceiling in Gransys is extremely low almost regardless of how you play or equip yourself, though.
I remember one (maybe two?) anons on /ddg/ that succesfully ran through and cheezed some shit on BBI before even going to the Blue Moon Tower, and then getting a Lv1 armor and weapon for themselves, and the rest of the game being ez
If I want to make webms from the pc version, what video capture thing should I use?
Kind of a bummer, but more power to 'em I guess.
People like that do make me sad when they complain though.
>"Why is this game so easy after I practically cheated and sequence broke my way to end-game gear?!"
>fraps because it's easy to use and pirate
Shit fraps isn't free? I was just thinking of using that share thing from my GeForce Experience thinger, but I haven't used it yet so I have no idea how it works or if it's even good.
Oh hey never played this, can you give me a MK build that doesnt start after leveling sorcerer to 200?
i dont really care about min max but i dont wanna quit the game after level 100 because my char sucks
Sure, play Sorcerer until you unlock all the augments, then play fighter/warrior until you unlock all the augments, then play Mystic Knight.
After that you'll have a good list of augments to choose from and you shouldn't be over level 30-40. You could just immediately switch to Mk as soon as you're able, but you'll miss out on some good augments that way.
ranger to 100, 49 levels of sorc then the rest into magick archer or mystic knight until 200
ranger has some pretty decent stat growth for either str or mag users and a lot of stamina
>i dont really care about min max
>i dont wanna quit the game after level 100 because my char sucks
Won't be a problem. Stats aren't a huge deal. Just play the other Vocations long enough to get Acuity, Clout, Articulacy, Sinew, and whatever other Augment you want and you'll be fine.
I was, but I decided to stop in preparation for next month. You need a rent or something?
Thanks, but I was actually hopping in to see if anyone wanted a rent too. Dusted off the Xbox and all these Dogma threads gave me the urge. Could exchange pawns if you wanted.
Nah, I'm mid Dogma fast and I don't feel like setting up the ol' girl. I can wait 15 days.
I wouldn't go that far.
>It's the only class that has a stat increase per level after 100
If that's true it kind of explains why their HP growth is so bad, so it doesn't really sound like it needs to be "fixed".
Probably not. If they didn't fix it in original DA, even though they fixed some MK stats, I doubt they'll change anything for the PC release.
Hell, considering they didn't change it back when DA came around, it makes me think the decrease was intentional.
