Stalingrad did have air battles. The Germans had well trained pilots and excellent aircraft, but had chronic fuel shortages, whilst the Russians had completely untrained pilots that dropped like flies, but they could replace them quickly.

Towards the end of the Battle of Stalingrad, the Russians could bomb German airfields basically with impunity because the Germans barely had enough fuel to get their planes off the ground.

The thing about consoles is that yes, you wll have exclusives but a majority of games are on PC too. That means better performance and graphics unless the dev is dumbass, as well as mods, control customising and all that.

On console you just play with what you're given.
