ITT: older games /v/ would hate if they came out today.
If Katamari was released today /v/ would call it randumb PewDiePie shit.
Devil May Cry
Half the people would be bitching because of the controls and camera angles, the other half would be bitching because Dante looks like a fucking faggot. A few people would be posting trish nudes like it's their job for the next month, and one guy would actually really like the style system and try to discuss it, but get completely drowned out.
If this came out today, /v/ would call it le edgy bullshit
It would probably also spawn a meme similar to Hatgred
I remember when they had Katamari as part of Awesome Games Done Quick last year. The Twitch chat was full of people saying, "This game is stupid," and shit like that. Fucking disgusted me.
>look, they're noir skeleton people how random xD spooky spook spooky 2spooky wooky xDD
The first postal is edgy shit with no redeeming factor whatsoever, though. It would be deserving of the mockery.
Postal 2 is the good one. And part of the appeal of that game is just how much less seriously it takes itself from Postal 1.
That's what I'm saying.
All games must have a dark and deep story. Games purely about "fun" are retarded as fuck and have no depth.
Fucking grrrl gamer pandering playing with dolls BULLSHIT. This is the cancer killing the industry! Literally zero difficulty.
>"Oh look, more indie bullshit."
>"This is the power of the PS4/WiiU/Xbone/PC... woah."
2deep4u cinematic shit.
