All missions were background on your target or ways of planning the assassination. Every post assassination scene was meaningful and made you question your mission.

Altair was cool because he grew quite a bit as a character, which is more than can be said for most of the protagonists. Your first experience with him is some arrogant shit that gets people killed, then by the end he's a badass that has temperance and poise. Plus he bangs out that ex-templar chick, or whatever she was.

It's just a shame the rest of the game was mediocre, and got in the way of better characterization.

First time he "left" of his own volition and went to THQ Montreal. He started up a couple projects there, then that studio went down and Ubisoft bought it.

I miss Altaïr and Ezio too. But there is not really much else to do with them.

Ezio got the best 3 games , the short about his father and another short about his death.

Altaïr got 3 games too with appearances in a fourth.

What I really miss is the time when Assassin's creed felt like a creed of assassins and not a nigger who finds the cloak and wears it because it looks cool , and when he gets to meet the order they are literally homeless niggers.

Feels. I really enjoyed that game, the medieval vibe, the Templar Knights, and all the lore was pretty exciting. Everything afterwards was boring as fuck. I didn't even bother with anything after an hour of playing Brotherhood.

because it was created with vision in mind. Someone came up with the idea about playing a Assassin and there was a creative process happening. Nowadays it's just formulaic. Every Ass Creed needs towers, and useless fetchquests, and "collect X" challenges. It's like playing the same fucking game over and over and over again and the worst thing is that this didn't just completely fuck over the Ass Creed series but also other Ubishit titles like Far Cry or Watch Dogs. I was actually surprised that Shadow of Mordor wasn't made by Ubisoft, it had the same fucking bullshit lazy content tower-unlocking game.
