The problem is that OoT was generally ugly and had lots of pre-rendered areas indoors. Poeple don;'t notice but Majora's Mask was a much better looking game which used the Expansion Pak alot, including a completely redone young Link model. So now it looks exactly the same but with shittier textures.

Not really if you don't want to bother with it. OoT does have a Master Quest mode that, in addition to the GCN version, mirrors the game and makes enemies do double damage. There's some minor improvements like aiming with the gyroscope, but content-wise it's basically the exact same game as the N64 one. I seriously doubt MM3D will be any different in that sense.
