Eh Morrowind is to Ashy for me filled with weird ass creatures Cyrodiil is alot more comfy
>>
>>267119297
Cyrodiil is only "comfy" because they retconned every bit of lore attached to it for Oblivion and turned it from a shithole jungle swamp to generic English country side.
>>
>>267114143
Skyrim in Third Century of the Fourth Era because I'm Canadian and the varied landscape would feel like home. Would probably try to become a Smith or maybe a librarian or merchant. I did a Skyrim playthrough as a mage just trying to collect and archive all the books in Skyrim and also as a completely non-violent merchant and they were surprisingly cozy and fun.
>>
>>267119430
Yep just look it up they made up some bullshit excuse how someone with Chim change the land. Why is Tamriel filled with such shit holes
>>
>>267119964
I would have preferred a swampy jungle environment, those are some of my favorite area types in games. Instead we got bright and sunny English hills, which I admit were pretty, but the entire game felt samey. I spent a lot of time down in the swamp area of the game, actually.

Also here's something. Bruma is the northernmost city and it's all snowy and shit, but then according to the map, Falkreath is right above it, and it's not a snowy city at all. It flurries now and then but much less than the snow covered city of Bruma.

Bethesda can't into map design.

Ayleid, 1st Era, Imperial City. Rule over everyone for 100 years and then move to Valenwood or the Summerset Isels if possible

It's not just a one or the other thing. Zero summing is succumbing to the knowledge that you aren't real, and CHIM is a state where you are so narcissistic you believe that you are too important to not exist despite not actually existing. Someone who came from "outside" would likely just not care. There would be no existential crisis to overcome.

It's in Mankar Camoran's Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes.
The same book also demonstrates that Mankar went through an edgy phase of preaching Dagon shit when he was in his late teens/early twenties, then found out he was dragonborn and learned to "speak fire" in a language he'd never heard.
Oblivion was a pretty decent game, once you get over the jungle and uncanny valley shit.

Fair enough. That being said, I'm sure that with some effort you'd eventually find a Falmer corpse that still has some blood in it. Or if that's too much trouble, just leave a bait near a place where there are rumors about Falmer raids, and surround it with dickloads of sharp rocks. Then come back and collect your blood a day later.

>>267128110
After all my work, do you think I would risk it all to some dusty old Dwemer Mecha who cant be won with good old CHIM? How would you save your people?
>>
In my opinion, I would say the era during the dragon born, i.e. Skyrim. Reason being is that, for one, I like the cold. Very brisk and welcoming. The second, I would say the fight between the storm cloak and imperial rebellion would be rather interesting to look at from afar. Reasoning? Watching a civil war over someone that was turned into a god in a previous era is very interesting material to look at. For me? I would be a farmer, or I would work for a blacksmith. Maybe even run a shop if I could get better. Maybe a scholar, looking at past era's.
>>
>>267128312
True. To be fair, I'd probably get some sort of training with a blade (it is TES after all) and try to find a small cave with a few in it. Gut one then run out.

I'm just saying, it might be an easy task but collecting ancient magic scrolls from lost Dwemer cities and then collection several vials of blood is one helluva grocery errand.

Bullshit. By that logic swords and bows are useless too.
>>
>>267129484
But mages are few and far inbetween, even in altmer society. While heavy armor is about as common as the day is long.

Guns would be useful in any setting.

magically enchanted bows and swords are not
>>

You forget the one advantage guns have over magic, ease of use.
You can spend years training an army of wizards, or you can outfit peasants with firearms and be wrecking shit within a month.
>>
>>267130035
Nah, they haven't even announced the new Fallout yet. Next TES is still many years away.
>>
>>267130028
Because everyone can do that, right. Because even if you can it doesn't take fuck tonnes of training

>>267130163
That's why soldiers and common men use them as standard issue right?

What about enchanted guns?

not about time yet
Oblivion was liek 2005 or 2006
Skyrim was 2012
TES games are anything from 4 to 7 years between each other
>>267130218
>You can spend years training an army of wizards, or you can outfit peasants with firearms and be wrecking shit within a month.
And then army of peasants will face against actually overpowered army of mages like Televanni or Mirror Logicians or any other mage that can bend reality itself, what the fuck are they going to do then?
I have to remind you that to conquer most of Nirn Tiber and his pals had to use
>Arguably the strongest Thu'um ever heard on all of Nirn with Wulf
>Strongest enchantments possible and creation of Mantella
>Fleet of fucking overpowered Red Dragons
>Numidium, a walking reality rape machine

Once they are developed properly, it will be far more than a simple matchlock or flintlock rifle. But even at that stage, they are more than capable of bringing down heavily armored foes.

Enderal is slated for an early 2015 released according to the devs, though this isn't set in stone.

Good thing neither of those are very aggressive then. Besides, an army must be well rounded to combat any threat. You equip your footsoldiers and cavalry with rifles, pikes, and swords. And then have mages too.

Dwemer centurion-helm tipping is extremely powerful. It blocked his magic from influencing the book, so he had to get one of his folk to pry it open. But the Dwemer were cheeky cunts, so that was a pain in the dick to accomplish until a skilled stranger popped in to offer a hand.

I doubt it, seen as how you have people with an affinity for magic, and people with no capability of using it at all. Most people would probably struggle a lot to use it efficiently.

But even then, the costs of training a useful mage is leagues above that of training a man to use a rifle or a spear.

There's nobody in TES who is outright unable to use magic. The one type of people who don't regenerate it, atronachs, are often powerful mages.

Do you reckon they'll let Arkane be involved in the development? I mean, they did Dark Messiah and Dishonored, and were brought out by Bethesda, so there's a chance.

But his book wasn't actually in that box for centuries. Well, it both was and it wasn't. The Ohgma Infinium appeared every time he wanted to present one of his followers, despite it technically also being in the box. He was just playing a game with the Dragonborn.
>>
>>267132048
This, even Kirkbride didn't say that was happening. The towers have nothing to do with using magic. Magical energy comes from the hole in Aetherius that is the sun.
>>
>>267131965
>magic isn't yet disappearing from the world
Magic can't disappear. Everything is made out of Aether and more of it is flowing from holes in the sky.
>>
>>267132114

"Sithis" isn't a being with a willpower. It is the elemental force of change. Worshiping sithis is like worshiping gravity.

It's not fucking equalized, MK said that there is so much Magica in all of Mundus that even if all the holes in reality got closed Magick would still last until Landfall probably
You know galaxies in the sky? Those are whirlpools of Aetherial energy
>>
>>267132639
Think about it
Sithis is Change, he is the Is Not, the origin of unstable mutant
Everyone who ever acts or changes something is committing act of Sithis basically, anyone who is inactive is in state of Anui-El
It's like variable of 0 and 1 in TES universe and everything is coded in it like in some program or something
>>
>>267114143
I will live somewhere on the border or Skyrim and Morrowind, in small hunter hut, as a Breton in Third Era, somewhere before the Nerevarine business. I would travel to Morrowind for fine Dunmer lasses, and to Skyrim for game and tomb raiding. I would visit Riften of Vivec once in two or three months, to buy spices with money got by looting. Also, I would try learning languages (dragon, falmer and daedric) and Shouting. Maybe once in my life I would embark on adventure to see homeland of High Rock, then return to my home and live until old age, dying surrounded by my grandchildren.
Simple life, with a bit of adventure.

They are sentient Nords that were buried with Dragonpriests and sort of cursed to take care of their master for ever

>>
>>267134331
Well, that isn't true either. They live longer, sure. But Fyr with his 4000 years is the exception, not the norm. And he was a mer to begin with. I don't think there's a single human who lived more than maybe two centuries, mage or not.
