Mewtwo on the other hand is far more popular and more interesting than Puff, and it has mega evolutions to use.

I won't go into the exact details of who I think should be in the game, but I will sum it up. Donkey Kong could afford two more reps. F-Zero and Metroid are perfectly fine and need no extra reps. If an Awakening rep is necessary, replace Ike. Lucina is a joke and Robin is lame, so choose someone worthwhile. And for the final Mario rep, a certain Princess would love to join the battle. Bayonetta would be nice, but that might be asking for too much.

Why people can't accept Uprising was a successful hit and it has a lot of fans?
Dark Pit (or any other Kid Icarus themed thing) is not in Smash because "BAAAWWW Sakurai's bias" but because Uprising is loved by a lot of fans.

Sure they should have added someone else over him, like Hades or Magnus. But I don't think anyone has been buttmad at Roy, Pichu, Dr. Mario or Falco in Melee because they put them over other non-clone characters. Pichu, Wolf, and Lucas were all not in in favor of him.
Pichu has moves that behave differently from Pikachu's and has a self-damaging mechanic that occurs when using electric moves.
Wolf's A-moves are all different from Fox's, and his specials are similar but definitely different enough to be used differently (except maybe his down special).
Lucas plays quite differently from Ness but he still managed to get cut.

Do you not think it's odd that Metroid and DK are so underrepresented?
Many games over the course of ~30 years and they both only have 2 reps, and Metroid has 2 that are literally the same person.
They both are high-selling franchises (DK at 54M units, Metroid at ~24M if I remember right) and they definitely have outsold FE and KI.

There is literally no excuse for Dark Pit to be in. Another character who would have made more sense than him would have been Black Shadow as a Falcon clone, with Ganondorf gaining a new moveset, since F-Zero is the only franchise who has not received new representation of the original 12 characters.

So what ever happened to that super-trustworthy guy that said Mewtwo is in?

they won't even put the Rare games back on the virtual console so maybe they just want to forget the more obscure stuff from the DK series?
and despite the DK reboot if you want to call it that, that sold very well maybe samurai just still thinks the series more of a Mario spin-off, makes sense why we don't see that much of Mario RPG, Paper, or Sports stuff in the game i guess

It's a solid game. One of the best on 3DS. Decent plot, endearing characters, damn good soundtrack, replayability up the ass. If you can get past the controls then I'm confident you'll enjoy the game. The controls seem to be the main hurdle for most people. Some people, myself included, got used to it after the first two chapters. Others a bit longer.

Play it and get pissed about how Dark Pit is a literal clone of Pit in Smash, but in KIU its basically the opposite.
