Day #2. Let's do this
Wii U thread
day 2 of trying to beat champion's road
that shit is the hardest Mario level I've ever played
I've used hundreds of lives and still haven't beaten it I always die right at the end
Well you don't have to be here.
Why don't you check out one of the xbox one or playstation 4 threads instead? Or if your PCMASTERRACE make a thread about the impending death of gaming?
this is by far the hardest part from what i've played
i found changing the camera helped
do it bro
i'm pretty okay getting to this point now, better than yesterday
I myself have tried Champion's Road a lot too.
The Tanuki and Lucky Cat Bell seem to give me the most success
This level was pretty hard for me. Yet so amusing.
What do you even post to these threads? The Pii U has NO games, and will NEVER, EVER, have a good game. I'm enjoying playing Ryse: Son of Rome and enjoying the new Titanfall DLC on my One.
There's several different angles you can put the camera in.
this part is such a bit trying to pay attention to the lazers AND platforms
Beep block part is easier with Tanuki
Lucky Cat shits all over the rollers
closing software and then starting up with your power ups intact
Cat suit makes this part easier too
I know but it still makes it easier
here we fukken go
I lost the cat suit though
damn and blast
It's meant to be more like a 2D Mario rather than 64 or Sunshine
>Tfw you have to beat this stage with all characters to get all stickers
I will never have a complete save file
>It's meant to be more like a 2D Mario rather than 64 or Sunshine
That's a huge bummer for me. I really wanted it because its like "oh! new 3d mario!"
Still, I got it cheaper than it'll probably be for years.
I haven't been playing the single player for a while so I'm working on 100% this until the DLC cups come out
Multiplayer in 3D World and Mario Kart 8 is fantastic.
I find Mario Bros U more frustrating in multiplayer than single player though, because of the daft way players collide and cause each others death constantly (as opposed to the way it works in Rayman)
Champions road is hard if you use characters like toad and maybe Mario with no powers (not with the tanooki suit obviously since that makes the level way more bearable)
Rosalind and her double jump, peach's glide and Luigis jump make it way easier.
This is exactly why modern Mario games are so piss easy.
He screws up repeatedly on the easiest parts.
Those first set of blocks...i mean come on, just time it right and its a cinch.
It took me like an hour or so to beat The Perfect Run. Abusing the clouds made the later parts a cakewalk.
I'm struggling to finish Champions Road even with Rosalina and suits prepared.
As another anon said it can be used to your advantage if you git gud. Rayman is shit as a 2D platformer compared to NSMBU. Boring with no challenge and controls that arent as tight. It may look pretty but that's all it has going for it.
I'd be inclined to, if I really wanted to play the game any more. Honestly, SM3DW wasn't one of the games I really liked on the system. It's okay, but not something that will keep me playing.
>mfw the first time i beat this i missed the gold flag
>I bet you bow in Dark Souls too
How did you know?
i always die here anyway
So did anyone else get Game and Wario for their Plat reward?
how do i do this part right?
Naw, I live in Australia.
Australians had something good happen to them for once and I want to rub it in.
didn't swim fast enough
>implying the Tanooki Suit isn't the best for the girls
Why do OP's images looks so blurry?
But I have.
3D World, as much as I love it, was piss easy until Champions Road. The last level.
New Super Mario Bros games are simple too, sure they've gotten more difficult each game, but not by much and they throw power ups at you so often.
Im not hating on them or anything, i love Mario, it just surprises me how much trouble some people have at the simplest parts.
It's happening to me, /v/. I own a Wii U. The only games I have are:
>Windwaker HD (Gamecube Remake)
>Monster Hunter 3 (Handheld port)
I used to have Mario 3D Land or whatever it is, but I traded it in because it's fucking easy, boring, and lacked any cohesion.
I get mad when Nintendo doesn't release games for me to play on the console, but when they do, I can barely justify paying $60 for their products and I don't buy them.
Is Nintendo really just for babbies?
Yeah, this section really pissed me off.
You have to start the dashing segment a little bit before the laser rings are about to fade, so one doesn't spawn when you're making those small jumps.
its not HARD, but its pretty challenging.
the levels don't have much cohesion to one another. more like a series of obstacle courses. but they are all well designed and fun. some are really easy. some are just fun. some will try your patience and make you feel like an idiot for messing up.
and champions road will make you curse the fact you ever got the game
This guy just doesn't know how to do anything but go full speed ahead, he keeps dying because he refuses to wait for the timing and just jumps right into every obstacle.
Look at the moving blocks right at the start, he keeps trying to bypass them instead of waiting for the blocks to move out of the way.
Look at the beep block parts, he doesn't even wait for them to change so he can make the right timing pattern, he just immediately jumps as soon as he's in range.
And then the Charging Chucks, he doesn't pay attention to where he's gonna land.
Who the fuck is this guy, is he always this retarded, is he usually worth watching or something?
So I think I'm finally giving up and picking up a wii u. What's the best bundle or deal or whatever on them right now? I'm in beaverfucker land and I dont see anything except some bundle with two mario / luigi games which I don't super care about.
