This is one of the best examples of a hidden gem I can think of. 48 bosses, many of which are optional, fun combat with dual arm swords and your leg is a fucking chain gun. The visuals are really nice and the campaign is pretty lengthy. The only thing I hate about this game is how much they kill the immersion. The characters will say "I can save the game here!" when they walk into a save point and "your max health has gone up!" when you pick up hearts. Aside from that it's an excellent game.

Yes. Once I got bored of playing with them in their intended form I would dismantle them and use their pieces to make my own creations. Out of all the Bionicles I've ever owned, only Maxilos, Takanuva's bike, Fenrakk, and Nivawk have remained intact. And even then, the latter three were heavily scavenged in order to build my Elite.

I loved the game, but the design of everything was so fucking boring. Consistent, but horrible artstyle. No colors. And the "story" was so fucking stupid.

South Park Rally is easily the best kart racer ever made, but was thrown to the curb by a videogame media that was unable to beat the first level, required before unlocking ALL THE FUCKING CONTENT.

Donkey Kong Country for the Game Boy Color is an ideal port. It's significantly harder than the SNES version because of the smaller screen and darker darkness. The soundtrack is reimagined, with elements of Donkey Kong Land's aesthetic mixed in.

Dragon Spirit: The New Legend is the best shmup on the NES aesthetically and damn good gameplay-wise. It's not very challenging because you're overpowered as fuck once you know your way around, but is definitely worth a go, especially if you're unfamiliar with the genre. It's the best game I've never seen talked about here.

Cho Ren Sha 68k is another wonderful shmup for Windows and the Sharp 68000 that no one seems to talk about. You can get it for free at the developer's website.

Spell Force Order of Dawn is awesome. Aged terribly and the voice acting is cringworthy but if you stick with it It's got hours of quests, side quests, good loot and heaps of different races to play as. Dragon Age meets Age of Empires
