Step out of the way and let a real unknown gem get past.
never seen it posted
had god tier gameplay and surprisingly atmosphere/music was great too
>tfw I own 3 copies
I can't get enough of T FUCKING ZERO
Honestly though the best console FPS ever, fuck BLACK
>tfw I can't discuss this game without being called a faggot hipster by my friends
Please tell me you guys played this GOAT though.
where those 3 other anons who played this game at
Anon I think you might be gay.
Vanilla Kopaka is best kopaka.
A new Biolicle movie might be made
Post your face when.
Deadly Preminition. But we are on /v/ so everyone knows about it already
This game would be great if not for the god-awful combat with no tutorial to speak of.
If it was simply chess, I would've beaten it easily, but that fucking combat, man. Got stuck on so many final levels because of that shit.
Water Goddess was so lewd. Had many a good faps in her honor.
I heard the sequel was better but I never played it, unfortunately.
Even as a kid I thought that game sucked.
Maybe I'll get some for nostalgia's sake.
I fucking loved this game, it was a little rough around the edges but damn near every idea it had was fantastic. Its one of those games that was just begging for a sequel.
ONE MORE FOR THE CASBAH!
I really enjoyed this game and I think most of it still holds up pretty well but its always in a really weird place because half (literally) the game was cut and it always gave off kind of a "rushed" vibe if you looked close enough.
She looked better before the Nuva transformation but her level in OP's game was the best by far.
Best bargain bin buy I ever got
was it really that good?
The game is called maldita castilla
it is a ghosts and goblins like game
it pretty good and also is free to play
The most intense game of rock-paper-scissors you could ever have, especially the last few fights.
I fucking love this game. The only thing holding me back from playing this game are the load screens.
I can only watch the white chalk drawing of the dog run across a black screen so much before I go postal.
The atmosphere of the game and the characters feel like a Miyazaki film.
Damn this game was so good and the music its awesome
Rented this baby at least a dozen times.
The sequel is amazing and you totally should. Overall I preferred the comfy atma restoring aspect of the first more, but the building customization in the sequel is still neat. Combat blows the first out of the water, though.
Plus there's a mother fucking golf minigame that you can play in the middle of dungeons.
I picked both of this and its sequel up on Steam, It reminded me of the tank control RE games, I'm kinda excited to dig into it.
Loved this shit
Countless sleepless nights playing this one.
This and Time Splitters Future Perfect will always be my favorite fps
Pic Related and Way of the Samurai are two games I used to love but no one really ever remembers.
This motherfucker right here. Dat gore.
My nigga. Blows all the Ratchet games out of the water.
>Shed the Metal ass off a Mill Soldier
>Watch it stumble around with its upper torso flailing around in a hilarious manner
I fucking loved this game, those Junk zombies were annoying but fun to fight though.
yeah it's pretty amazing
i made a mech based around dual wielding machine guns and going sonic levels of fast and it got crazier than any amount of crazy a DMC game could produce
>game got so crazy at one point everything just dropped to a single FPS
>Ray 01 will never be playable in Smash
Don't know how hidden this game was, but I found it a rare beauty. It would make an awesome addition to the eshop today.
Picked this game up again after about 10 years, most people seemed to hate it or love it (I like it still)
also that fucking soundtrack
I still consider this to be in my top 10 of all time.
Most fun co-op game of its generation. I would have loved for this game to be ported to arcades. I would fucking buy an arcade machine if it was.
Seeing as how I was a child back then, not very well, at least I had melee, but I'll never be able to forget.
It was a sad time to lose so much vidya for me, he also sold Oblivion and claimed that game he's getting is pretty much like Oblivion.
The game he got was Mass Effect, ultimately ruining any game that Bioware put out.
Any nigerian negros play this?
Came out end of PS1 lifespan.
Mfw flailing upper torso Mill soldiers.
>Entire SSX series
One was one of the best launch day titles and the other was one of the best selling games, both in the most famous console of all time, what the fuck are you up to
Bought pic related and had loads of fun with it.
Damn right son
I fucking loved ssx.
Me and my buddy found a copy of an ssx game on the bargain bin at wal mart and his mom bought that and some frozen pizzas for us, we played for like 10 hours straight once we got to his house.
I used to spend up to weeks over at his house just gaming and shit, we did everything together.
I then moved, we kinda fell out of touch and he died of cancer 9 months ago. I couldn't afford to visit him, that sucked.
Man, honestly thank you for posting this, it made me remember some really good times.
>Spending days unlocking more bots
>Going through all the challenge fights
>replaying everything in free-mode
Fuck, this game was incredible.
> Implying this wasn't the best movie
This is one of the best examples of a hidden gem I can think of. 48 bosses, many of which are optional, fun combat with dual arm swords and your leg is a fucking chain gun. The visuals are really nice and the campaign is pretty lengthy. The only thing I hate about this game is how much they kill the immersion. The characters will say "I can save the game here!" when they walk into a save point and "your max health has gone up!" when you pick up hearts. Aside from that it's an excellent game.
Don't know why, this game was awesome when it came out.
Any of you fuckers still have any of your Bionicles?
The new Takanuva was the last one I got as a gift from my uncle.
this little game is so fun
short but damn fun
Speaking of hidden-gem movie games. Does anyone remember this?
>Friend wanted this game for like a year
>Finally gets his hands on it and invites me over as soon as it arrives
>I think it's cool
>I see he is underwhelmed
>We play multiplayer and I beat him in every single match
>Let's play something else
Man, I felt so bad, but I can't just lose games to make people happy.
Same thing happened when versing my dad in strategy games. But he was a cunt anyway.
>You will never read the comics for the first time again
Feels bad man
I know this sounds like rose tinted glasses are on fully but did anyone else think the new sets looked like total ass? Not just the bigger ones, but even the smallest sets started looking awful.
I liked the 06 matoran though, probably the last one I bought or received
Hell yeah, motherfucker. Still got two tubs of pieces, and I still display this custom guy on my shelf.
I can agree with you to some degree
Yeah the bigger ones like this seem dumb
I would know I have it in my closet right now, the concept is good, but really its just a giant gun with those ball launchers that those one set of Toa's had
This shit seemed rad as fuck before they went underwater and the story had to seem to take 50 different directions
>Still got two tubs of pieces
How the hell did you accumulate that many pieces, did you like take apart all your bionicles or something?
I've heard of how people would abuse the report/contact us feature on the Lego website to get free parts, I know becuase I was able to get some replacement parts for my Lewa.
I don't even know what to say about this one
but what about the other games?
>tfw faggots like these posted their fetish stories all over bzpower and other forums
That's how I found out microphilia and vore was a thing at a young age. Only remembered it recently.
>did you like take apart all your bionicles or something
Yes. Once I got bored of playing with them in their intended form I would dismantle them and use their pieces to make my own creations. Out of all the Bionicles I've ever owned, only Maxilos, Takanuva's bike, Fenrakk, and Nivawk have remained intact. And even then, the latter three were heavily scavenged in order to build my Elite.
Dragon Force is the most criminally underrated game of all times.
>Out of all the Bionicles I've ever owned, only Maxilos, Takanuva's bike, Fenrakk, and Nivawk have remained intact. And even then, the latter three were heavily scavenged in order to build my Elite.
That shit sounds so honorable, honorable enough to be something that should have been in one of these books. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/B011_BIONICLE:_Rahi_Beasts
You could try and get them on ebay for Nostalgic reasons, but aside from Nivawk, you are looking to spend more than 30 for each one.
Holy shit I remembered I combined Makuta with pic related to add rocket legs and a fucked up berserk-styled Ferrari sword. I wish it wasn't thrown out when I moved or even just some pictures.
and Pic and Lost Kingdoms, and Evolution
>Watch the movie
>See the fusion between Takanuva and Makuta
>Didnt know that shit existed until 2 years ago
>yfw its the two sets put together
Wow I didn't know that either.
>This is what it resembled
The first one was fun but kind of tedious. The sequel, however, is great in pretty much every aspect.
I loved the game, but the design of everything was so fucking boring. Consistent, but horrible artstyle. No colors. And the "story" was so fucking stupid.
There's random yet cool stories, but this was definitely not one.
Again: fantastic gameplay, but the developers really made it hard for me to like it.
3/10 Not a hidden gem.
It's not my design or my pic, but I liked enough to replicate it.
It was really tough trying to do it without specially ordering the pieces, I'm surprised I had them all.
never see anyone talk about this game. it wasnt amazing but great for some mindless fun.
One of my favorite games, I replay it every 1-2 years
Sure it had fuckall to do with my state's old monster legend, but fuck was it a good game.
>I had every Bionicle besides Kopaka when I was a kid
>My best friend had him and it made me so mad because "honey you already have all of these ones, you don't need that one"
>Those .fmvs you'd get on minidiscs with the Bionicles
>That awesome flash puzzle game on pc
>All American Rejects commercials
And then they had to go ruin it, then destroy the brand and rename it Hero Factory.
Buy the second game and Rogue Galaxy if you liked this one, and don't spend your coins on useless faggy shit like a cheap copy of the best sword in the game, instead get the tiger bikini for the female protagonist :^)
I got that one as a gift and i got stuck in some space mission where you have to defend an spaceship before planes destroy it, i don't know shit about robotech but there was some big ass robot in the distance, don't know if you remember that part.
I'm not a furry (in fact I blame them for the following) but I miss the days when there was loads of fun character platformers and adventure starring Disney style animals. I think it's a real disservice to kids these days that the only games made for them are based on existing franchises and cartoons.
this one is great. its also got sean connery doing the voice acting
South Park Rally is easily the best kart racer ever made, but was thrown to the curb by a videogame media that was unable to beat the first level, required before unlocking ALL THE FUCKING CONTENT.
Donkey Kong Country for the Game Boy Color is an ideal port. It's significantly harder than the SNES version because of the smaller screen and darker darkness. The soundtrack is reimagined, with elements of Donkey Kong Land's aesthetic mixed in.
Dragon Spirit: The New Legend is the best shmup on the NES aesthetically and damn good gameplay-wise. It's not very challenging because you're overpowered as fuck once you know your way around, but is definitely worth a go, especially if you're unfamiliar with the genre. It's the best game I've never seen talked about here.
Cho Ren Sha 68k is another wonderful shmup for Windows and the Sharp 68000 that no one seems to talk about. You can get it for free at the developer's website.
>Dragon Spirit: The New Legend
Is that the game that when you die in the first level or beat the first level you get a different cutscene or something?
I remember that shit! Loved it.
Considering people generally die when they are killed, it's actually pretty lenient.
Like I said already it's one of the easiest shmups ever to come out of Japan even without easy mode.
Almost finished it, but I forgot all the runes so I had to go back and collect them.
I was not prepared
Shadow of Rome having half Brutal killing and half stealth storyline was fucking brilliant
Spell Force Order of Dawn is awesome. Aged terribly and the voice acting is cringworthy but if you stick with it It's got hours of quests, side quests, good loot and heaps of different races to play as. Dragon Age meets Age of Empires
This one isn't the most well known but really fucked up story and about 6 different endings
Anyone played this MGS ripoff?
I thought it was great. And hard as fuck.
It was surprisingly
>mind control the glaive to rip heads from shitters, or even bounce if off the walls to hit opponents behind
>cool-looking anti-projectile energy shield
>broken as fuck invisibility
I tink many people know it already because of GameGrumps but they didn't pay attention to the game, they were just telling bad jokes.
Leaving that aside is really a comfy video game
Is there other comfy video game for the PS2?
The game may not be such a gem, but the soundtrack sure is:
8/10 simple as fuck but played like four times trough with my best friend.
seriously answer the question, don't fucking toy with me anon I need to know if bionicle is coming back
Remember me? Maybe it's just nostalgia goggles though.
i got it when i first got my ps2. it came with the console so i assumed it would hold me off from wanting a new game for a while but nope. shit was too confusing and too unrewarding for my child mind. i fucking hated that game
Underrated post. Tzar was an awesome game. Going back to play it sucks though, the controls are so clunky and the lack of unit formations makes it hard to attack in that game.
Towers were OP as well.
Everyone gushes over Spiderman 2 because of the web-swinging mechanics, but Spiderman 1 was the fucking shit!
I loved that you could play as the green Goblin and unlock unlimited energy and it gave him a slightly different storyline as well.
Sucker Punch's first game. They were largely irrelevant until they started making Sly Cooper, then they went to make the greatest Triple A masterpiece of our generation: The Infamous games.
