I played it months ago and that sure as hell wasn't the case. They did however fuck up the melee system by introducing channeling AKA a way to waste energy while removing charging, meaning the galatine and other weapons that relied on it now suck dick. Note that you can't even fucking channel without putting away your gun, so melee weapons are now total shit if you don't use them exclusively.

Too grindy and the devs have absolutely no idea what they're doing, so I'm glad I got out.
