I never thought it was possible to make optional content for a game that would make me not want to play it altogether.
>The Roman empire allowing women into their ranks
Did I enter bizarro earth?
Political correctness aside, I feel that this is probably in theory a good idea for how to handle DLC packs for strategy games, have them be about introducing new units or unit skins rather than minicampaigns or battle packs. Is this thing available in multiplayer though? Because it'd be problematic if it were and turns out the female units are all horribly overpowered. As a strictly single-player thing I don't see much issue with it
Except the AI is still garbage, the battles are still Capture the Flag, the graphics are still worse than Shogun 2 (pic related) while performance is somehow 2x worse than Shogun 2 maxed out, sieges still don't work properly, no family trees, WarCraft 3 tier magic abilities, moshpits instead of fighting in rank, water transports are still the best naval units and so on and so forth.
I can go all fucking day, and I played the series since my 7 years older brother introduced me to Shogun 1 as a kid when it came out (though I skipped Medieval 1 and went to Rome 1). It's the WORST game in the series to date. And least complex.
>Is this thing available in multiplayer though?
If I remember correctly unit packs were useable in multiplayer for napoleon and shogun 2 so they'll probably be available in multiplayer here as well.
14 patches, most recent was 1 month ago and another is in the works
DLC is mostly worthless.
>I let /v/ form my opinions and then can't be swayed because I'd have to admit to myself that I'm wrong
I thought it was crap at release, too. I didn't play it until a few months ago but now it's great.
>YFW one of the screenshots for the DLC is a female warrior kicking a male warrior in the balls
You're a shill, nothnig more, nothing less. You failed to adress any of the issues mentioned in the thread. And if you dare even try to call any of them lies I will laugh at you even harder because they are actual issues. The only one they semi-fixed was Siege AI in latest patch, all other issues still stand (and Siege AI still derps out, just not as bad).
>I make wrong assumptions when somebody posts mean things about a shitty game I like.
Try again, maybe you'll get it right next time but I didn't browse threads about this game if I did maybe I wouldn't have bought it.
>wanted to try out the total-war series because I like RTS and friends told me how good the series is
>decide to buy rome2 at the first day because I love the setting and everyone told me the series is good
>it turns out I bought the worst game of the whole series
>still play it trying to convince myself its a good game
>finally give up
Is it possible that stormfags have so little self-reflection that they aren't aware they're exactly the same as SJWs in terms of being oversensitive, whiny little faggots? At least SJWs have good intentions.. stormfags have literally no redeeming qualities at all. Kill yourself turbovirgin.
I feel you Anon, I feel you
acquireone of the other games instead, Medieval 2 and the original Rome still hold up rather well despite a couple issues, and properly modded Empire isn't that bad either. Shogun 2 is also pretty great but the campaign isn't as fun I feel
What issues? The only remaining ones are politics (which Divide et Impera improves a little bit)
Optimization, I think. But it runs perfectly on max for me with a 560Ti and i5 2500K
Sometimes units will get stuck on ships, but 90% less often than they used to.
With the DeI mod I notice the AI doesn't engage its general in combat enough.
Who the fuck would play vanilla?
Why don't SEGA just stop with Total War and use the experience with that gameplay to create a competitor to Mount & Blade ? Would fit perfectly with their know how. But no, if i'm not mistaken the next CA game will be some Warhammer Total War bullshit.
>JRPG shit with waifu characters is all about the SJW agenda right?
>Rome 2 on the horizon
>everything looks fine and dandy
>CA gets Warhammer license
>FoTS turned out to be great, Rome 2 soon, and Warhammer Fantasy Medieval 2
>Rome 2 hits
>a thousand dreams crushed
Jesus fuck, i pirated at release and purged it a day later and happily forgot about it.
But selling individual units is the shit we laughed at ironically in the past
No, fuck that piece of shit. I grew up with Rome and Medieval 2, some of the greatest strategy games I've played. I didn't even hate Empire or Napoleon - disappointing, but they still had some charm. Shogun 2 renewed all my hope for the series because of how fucking great it was - particularly the multiplayer.
And then this piece of shit comes along. Fuck Rome 2 and fuck CA for making it. I'm not spending a dime on Warhammer: Total War until I know it's a functioning and complete game that isn't streamlined to hell.
>game is dogshit at release
>almost a year later after over a dozen patches and with hundreds of modders giving it constant attention there are tons of good configurations for it
>/v/ drones keep buzzing on
>have Rome 2 in account because a friend of mine preordered it back then and we have family shared our accounts
Should i bother downloading that huge mess? Could i get atleast a bit enjoyment out of it?
Or should i just keep playing Shogun and ignore its existence?
Originally, I played the game and I thought it was fun and exciting. There were enough new innovations to make the game unique, allowing it to stand apart from the rest of the series. It had its problems, but overall I enjoyed it more than that god-awful mess Shogun 2 was.
Now this DLC releases, and I'm left sitting here saying "why" as CA panders to SJW faggot trannies because they're full of a bunch of feminist fuck-heads.
I had a bad feeling the series was heading towards this back when they released the "Amazons" for Empire...If only I had known...
>I never thought it was possible to make optional content for a game that would make me not want to play it altogether.
You're a faggot if you wanted to play Rome 2 in the first place
>b-but mods fix it
That's now how it works faggot. We're comparing vanilla S2 and earlier games to vanilla Rome 2 which is completely fucked.
And no, mods don't fix the lack of family trees because the mechanics for it don't exist in the game's engine. Same with most of other issues that are problem with the engine itself.
>But Anon, Rome and Medieval 2 were babbycore strategy games and I mastered them after only a few hours.
Try play BI with West Roman son, enjoy being fucked in the ass by Barbarian
It's only worth playing if you -really- like the classical era, but it's seriously disappointing. Huge turn times, awful AI, lack of units and models, navies are useless. Every fight just turns into a huge brawl with no sense of tactics or coherence.
>I PLAY SHITTY GAMES AND AM NOW BUTTMAD ABOUT COMPLETELY OPTIONAL DLC
cool story bro
It still isn't the best, but it isn't the worst anymore either. The A.I actually does something clever every few battles with the Radious mods installed, which is a first for the series.
Yeah I wish there were family trees. But in Rome 1 they basically did nothing. There are mods which let you groom characters very well and they can serve as good generals or administrators. I don't think Rome 1's family system did anything but let you choose your heir and it affected the size of the general's unit.
Fuck off. I love the TW franchise and I was super hyped about this game that I even preordered it. This game is the reason I don't pre order anymore. I get a code that lets me play as Sparta cause I pre ordered, but anyone else has to pay fucking $15 to play as them even though they are already in the game. THIS IS ON DAY ONE.
Not to mention it was pretty much unplayable. But I pushed through and played for 50 hours in the first week. I smashed through normal mode so I decided to try legendary. How can it even be called legendary I owned half of the known world in 10 hours. I gave up after all the bugs just pissed me off. Then, 2 months ago I decided to play again cause everyone was saying how they patched it and it was fixed. I go into my first battle and a fucking ship is sailing through the land and the battle won't end because I can't kill the units inside the boat. This is 9 months after release fuck this game and fuck you for defending it.
I figure someone here might have some advice: in the TATW campaign I have tried every tactic and start but I can't for the life of me beat the nazgul at weathertop, and every walkthrough I see says to avoid them or hope they don't murder you outright
>It's actually the best TW they have made
Finally a time to ask this question.
What did you guys think about this here? I never saw anyone talking about it here.
i love tw:r2 but it has some bugs OP
honestly its a good game worth getting on a steam sale like i did.
>Wish there were one
>some mods fix this
>some mods cause units to act like this if you just leave them there, also there is a "maintain formation" button now for historically disciplined units
>AI no longer does this
>fixed by MANY mods addressing that specifically
>are made strategic and balanced by mods
>fixed by mods
>fixed by mods
>now takes an entire turn to transition to sea if you aren't in a port to simulate constructing ships, transports are also weakened
>greatly improved and varies by nation
>fixed by mods
>FIXED BY MODS SINCE EVER, like the FIRST thing to be fixed, you don't even need mods you can change it yourself by editing one value
>encyclopedia loads too slowly, but isn't very useful anyway once you have mods that add hundreds of units
Verdict: single legitimate complaint is the lack of family tree. EVERYTHING else has been fixed by mods, specifically Divide et Impera since it's the most comprehensive and well-done.
sieges are still awful and the AI can be terrible during sieges for some reason
but not everything in the game is bad
>Not the best
>not mediocre in every way
That doesn't change the fact they're fun. I regularly play grand strategy but I still enjoy TW for the combat and visual spectacle. Grand strategy also universally has fucking awful combat and a lot of emphasis on dice rolls and luck, with the only exception being HOI3.
You're making the skyrim argument all over again. It's a shit game kid, I know it was your first TW game, but you gotta learn to understand that sometimes a game is just a turd, and mods can only polish it
>Skyrim is best RPG ever made with mod
The game is shit dude, just stop.
Anyone who's interested in rome II should just invest in rome I, at least that game deserves a purchase.
Why do you shits forget that at the end of the day they want to make a profit, if this shit sells then so be it. Boo fucking hoo a fucking VIDEO GAME adds some historically questionable content to appeal to some cunts. Fucking video game politics man.
I'm going to make a suggestion to Sega that they add a 'gay legion' pack and add more homosexual references. At least that would be pretty historically accurate. Nero did have two husbands you know.
Also stop using the abbreviation 'SJW', that shit is the most cringe worthy fad to ever be used here.
>I'm going to make a suggestion to Sega that they add a 'gay legion' pack and add more homosexual references.
The Sacred Band of Thebes were legit gay warriors who slapped shit. Women warriors on the other hand never happened
Of course it is, just like every total war with the right mods become greater than vanilla can ever hope to be.
Soon to be EB2
Because the total war games are supposed to be historical, adding bullshit ahistorical crap like this is dumb, and for the record in the origional rome TW there were female soldiers and nobody gave a shit, because the factions who utilised them (German tribes, Scythia etc) did so historically.
In short, go fuck yourself.
>Women warriors on the other hand never happened
They did though
Not to the extent that any fantasy RPG would have you believe, but believe it or not there were actual women who fought in battles, usually because chivalry goes out the window when Romans show up demanding you obey their laws and pay them tax
Why? Skyrim is shit at its core because the dungeons are almost all linear with an exit to the entrance, Leveled items and enemies are poor design, the dialogue sucks, and the questing and cities are uninspired. Mods can't fix those things.
But nearly EVERYTHING wrong with Rome 2 was fixed by mods. The existence of DLC and lack of family trees can't be fixed.
Alright chill your tits David
>Not including Imperial Splendour
>Not then putting Imperial Splendour above Faggotmod
GO KILL YOURSELF, WITH A HOSE, IN YOUR GARAGE, THIS IS GETTING ANNOYING...
So I haven't played either Empires nor Napleon, and vanilla Shogun 2 was so boring
not to mention the multiplayer was absolute shit and level orientedI did not try out Fall of the Samurai.
anyways are Empire or Napoleon worth checking out?
Good thing Divide et Impera is autistically historical, to the point of every goddamn added unit using its natively spoken name so you start to understand the words in that language.
>Because the total war games are supposed to be historical
Good one m85. So the Roman ninjas, the Amazonian warriors, the Berzerkers who could toss Elephants around like Ragdolls, the Egyptians whose army looked more like The Mummy Returns than anything the Ptolemies ever fielded, those were all "historically accurate"
Come on mate, I'm sure you can get your history video game fix elsewhere
rome 2 about to get btfo by a mod
literally 6 out of 8 claims you just made are objectively wrong. stop shitposting you retard if you haven't even played the game regularly since recent patches.
especially about the AI you're dead wrong. the campaign map AI is by far the best AI that has ever been in any TW game, including mods. And I say that from a perspective of somebody who has easily 300 or so hours in the original rome, and several hundred in the other total war games. combat AI is very good as well, although well it's still relatively easy to beat it, but that's any strategy game ever made.
Look at this faggot, I bet it's DARTH_VADER himself, the hack who steals credit then cries when he's not invited to a modder summit held by CA.
Go kill yourself faggot, you're a useless shit who simply stitched together abunch of community mods, where-as Imperial Splendour is one cohesive mod, which has better AI, better unit design, more historical accuracy and authenticity, better balance (both in Battle and Campaign), and isn't a bugged-out-the-ass mess of poorly functioning parts.
The reason he wasn't invited is because he never did any real modding. He combined other peoples mods together, did some
tweaking, and then called it his own often not even giving credit to those who's original mods he used. That's why he
wasn't invited: He doesn't actually do any of the real modding himself. That and because apparently he's a bit of an ass
This is also the second time he's said he's 'quitting' the TW modding community so he's a drama queen too!
"People need to understand they should be elated at the fact that people with technical knowledge were chosen to go, and
what that could potentially mean.
If we go there and they try to explain the ESF format, should TAW be there or DarthVader? If we go there and they talk to
us about the format of the pack files, should DarthVader be there or the guy responsible for creating Shogun2's version of
the PackFileManager? Obvious answers.
The truth is that anyone can open the PFM an change database tables while claiming to be rewriting AI. Craig has my utmost
and profound respect for saying it how it is.
The sad thing is, is that while Darth likes to tell us how other modders hate him or that they are jealous, his very post
doing so shows us that in fact he is the jealous one here, and that posts exactly like that are why other modders might
dislike him. He is, after all, the only one in the entirety of this site who will likely complain about not being chosen."
Did you not Play Shogun 2 or did you just ignore the Warrior Nuns there? They weren't really historical either.
there's no magical spear throw, he's shitposting.
what annoys me more about the active abilities isn't that they're somehow "muh immersion" breaking or something, but rather that they have almost no consequence in battle, and there's no strategy to using them. you just wait for the cooldown to end and bombard your enemies with debuffs and yourself with buffs.
TOMORROW???? I KNEW IT WAS AUGUST BUT HOREY SHIT
I've been talking to myself all along?
Not a reskin. There are many advantages Medieval 2's updated engine has over Rome's, the main ones being non-clone armies and non-retarded campaign AI. I stopped playing Rome because every faction would declare war on you for no reason, even allies.
I'm really willing to believe there were women who fought in the early days. Also that those who did were pretty damn good at it.
Thing is, they were exceptions. A lot of women have a real damn issue with accepting physical differences between the sexes. Men are on average just better build for fighting. They're, on average. stronger and more fit than women.
Why do some people find this such a hard concept? It's not sexist, it's just the way we're build.
I mean I am really sad, Phalanx dont work, formations dont hold, everybody keeps spazing out twitching. Its a fucking abomination. if even Total War games have become this I should find a new hobby.
>I skipped Medieval 1
This pleb doesn't knows how it feels to move an unit from Jerusalem to London in One turn
>tfw naval units in the whole map teleporting troops
>tfw byzantine empire napalm throwers
>tfw Mongols really rekted shit back then
>tfw feudal tittles based on regions you could give
>all that chivarly/fear that actually mattered
You skipped the ebst game m8
Are you autistic?
I brought it up because I have read the thread up to that point and noticed it being used a few times.
I'm honoured to hear that you think my post was copypasta or trolling.
No mention of any female bands of anything. There are a couple of
>All the men were dead so even the elderly and the women picked up weapons
>dis bish poisoned herself because Romans were about to start the rape train
Medieval's engine always felt a bit more floaty with the combat compared to the rome's. I could never really get into medieval because of that
But not nearly as floatly as warscape holy shit
I'm not even sure if Rome 1 vanilla is better than this game's vanilla, they were both awful.
>explain that mods fix nearly everything, especially one mod in particular, Divide et Impera
>/v/ doesn't want to hear it because they'd have to change their minds about something
>says that mods don't count as fixing
lol. What? the end product you play changes.
>or keeps droning on and saying TIS BAD!
>Phalanx dont work
Yes they fucking do. They don't mow through fucking everything at the speed of light like in the original Rome but attacking a phalanx from the front with anything - even elephants - is still suicide in Rome 2.
>formations dont hold,
Units with formation attack hold wonderfully, unless you're complaining that you can't countercharge cav with swords without getting bent over like a bitch.
>the main ones being non-clone armies
Are you fucking stupid or what. M2 has MORE clones than Rome 1
Pretty much ALL the Western nations have the exact same setup: heavy knights with a few heavy infantry. ONLY England bucks the trend by having longbows instead of Crossbows
All the Eastern nations have the same setup as well (Orthodox and Muslim btw). Light Cavalry (usually ranged) and light infantry (usually shit)
No one has any weird shit like elephants, chariots, or Berzerkers. No one has any infantry units that fight completely differently from each other. The Scots and HRE get some funny infantry, but all the infantry is basically the same as Dismounted Knights. Meanwhile, Rome 1 had Phallanxes (which could not run in formation), Hastati (only Roman infantry had throw weapons before a charge), Barbarians (only barbarian infantry could war cry).
Is it any different then the screaming ladies in Rome 1? I mean I feel like there was probably women in war but never in strictly female units rather they just served in militias against invaders and shit.
On your attempt of trying to get this thread derailed into SJW hating. Which is how they call themselves btw, it's not something 4chan made.
So stop trying to derail. It's not working.
>instead of actually playing both mods
I did. Where-as with Darthmod I experienced mentally handicapped AI which would charge full squadrons of cavalry head-on into bayonet equipped infantry, in Imperial Splendour the AI would kite the player using AI and flank him intelligently.
Lol, kill yourself Darth_Vader, go get mad that no one bought your little indie-fag game that you wanted to develop on your own
Medieval 2 is pretty good and worth a play. I'm pretty sure there's some medieval mods for Rome 1 too though I'm not sure of their quality. I'm not aware of any mods that place any of the newer games in the medieval period either.
I could make lists including them as well, though it would take some time, or are you going to admit that it was a retarded thing to say in the first place since 90% of the "new models" in Darth_mod are copy-pasted from each other nations roster?
I am not the father of luke, in case you think this.
You started an entire book worth of rant because a guy didn't share your taste in mods.
You have a serious fucking problem, you autist.
No, I simply hate dipshits that don't know what they're talking about.
The only autist here is you, since you're dismissing everything I'm saying for "hurr, autist, go get laid" like the defenseless faggot you are. Either admit your a scum-fuck pile of shit and move on, or don't, and remain the autistic loser you are who can't bear to have their reality crushed.
>I'm pretty sure there's some medieval mods for Rome 1 too though I'm not sure of their quality
M2's engine is a direct upgrade from Rome's so it's better to get something like Stainless Steel instead of getting mods for Rome.
>The AI was even worse
>and there were less factions
Faction in Rome 2 are shit since the gameplay is shit
>the map was also smaller.
Woohoo, a large shit sandwich
AI in Rome 2 vanilla won't let you flank it in towns or cities. They will move to cover alleyways you're moving troops down. It didn't in Rome 1. it let you flank the FUCK out of it
AI in Rome 2 vanilla will position on the high ground if it gets the chance
I've seen the AI move to forest when its units have a bonus there
>go get laid
Oh wow, so much projecting. I never said anything of the sort.
Like I said, it was a genuine question. It's nothing to be ashamed about, but a guy didn't mention a mod that you apparently love, and you go on a fucking rant.
That's not normal behaviour. You could've just replied with; "this mod is better and these are the reasons why" instead of typing a bible about how you think he's darth vader and trying to prove some point.
Again, get yourself checked. This is abnormal even for 4chan standards.
>friend gives me Shogun 2 for my birthday
>try to play it
>too much shit going on
>enemy cavalry fucking some of my samurai ups
>too much shit fucking going on
I'm s-sorry guys, I wish I was better at this, any tips other than git gud?
I'm thinking of trying the campaign on
easy of something
>Not guy you're responding to
I've seen the AI on Rome 2 move to forests/scrub to protect themselves when I've had a skirmish edge on them which is honestly quite impressive. Though, it's quite rare I manage to have more skirmish power than the AI with how much they love devoting 6+ units of the army to either slingers or peltasts, usually only happens when I'm playing with Parthia or one of the nomad factions.
Ohh fuck it we need a Medieval 1 General gonna post my progress
>literally rewriting history to add in Strong Proud Womyn warriors
Even the dumbest motherfucker on planet earth knows women would make TERRIBLE archers.
Why would you want a combat unit that can't even draw a bow?
>waste 30 minutes in realtime battle
>my units are clearly better than the enemy units
>let the same battle auto resolve
>get crushed hard
Why can't the devs into auto resolve?
that place is a shithole full of RTW2 babies
some minor Skirmish has been a year since I opened that byzantium savefile
Learn a strategy and basic formation abilities.
Don't bother with archers unless you understand how to use them or you're sieging/defending - more often than not you'll just end up killing your own guys and they take up a slot that could be used for some melee units.
Large, cheap armies are better than small, expensive ones. Spam yari and sword ashigaru. Use the yari ashigaru to tank, and use the sword ashigaru to attack from the back or sides. Keep one or two regiments of yari ashigaru at your flanks if the enemy have cavalry. You can exchange these units for their samurai equivalents once you can afford it.
Cavalry are very good, but don't overdo it. I typically have 2 - 4 regiments of cavalry depending on the size of my army. Hide them in the forests and get them behind the enemy. Once the enemy engage your infantry, charge from behind. Do not attack spearmen with cavalry.
These are really basic and can be countered by skilled players easily, but if you learn the basics you can at least beat the AI in most cases. There are other units worth learning about - no-dachis, matchlocks, artillery, naginata, warrior monks and so on are all very powerful and have their uses, but they're worth picking up once you understand the game better.
>Romans letting women and their filthy vagoo's join them in combat.
I'm sure. Too bad in actual combat all you would have to do is have male archers who can outrange them to win. And I'm pretty sure war is about winning?
But lets not let facts and science disrupt our social justice feminism.15
medieval war bows were a bit tougher than the recreational bows you used at camp, and war involves trekking miles through varying terrain/weather while carrying all your equipment and then being able to draw your bow as efficiently as possible.
I dont even renember being this far up north
lets turn this into a TW story thread
>Playing MTW2 as Norse
>Start marrying all my princesses to their uncles and nephews
>2nd gen family are mildly inbred, but all are super fertile, but also slightly off
>3rd gen is full blown insane fertile bisexuals with legacies of Dread, and our king has a fullblown wrathful trait
>Incest, incest everywhere, haven't adopted or accepted marriage at all, every couple births at least 4 children
>by the time the mongols invade, we send them scurrying back east from fear from the screaming insane bisexual lords of the west
Even the pope who we put in office was secretly a fucking chick.
Just kicked some German ass on the snowy anjou, cant believe this one got visibility mechanics with the snow
Np idea m8 I use legit cd I bought like 15 years ago, since my laptop has the integrated along the Nvidia I run it with the integrated card using windows 7, put the .exe with administrator privileges and compatibility for Xp
that works for me
Assuming they would actually make it to a battle.
Remember it took weeks and months of marching for armies to get anywhere in those times.
By the time this theoretical female archer force arrived at any battlefield half of them would be pregnant and the other half would be taking care of their kids.
>Is it possible that stormfags have so little self-reflection that they aren't aware they're exactly the same as SJWs in terms of being oversensitive, whiny little faggots?
Of course they know this, thats the whole point ,they have been raised in a society that brainwashed then from birth to believe males and females should be equal.
They see that females have their little shitty gender centric ideology, they need to have one too.
>At least SJWs have good intentions..
just go pirate the other games. If you like them buy them. You made a stupid choice by buying it, but you can't undo it so at least try the other games before forming an opinion on Total War overall. My favourite ones are Medieval 2 and Rome 1. Medieval 2 has the best mix overall, campaign map and battle map wise in my opinion. Rome 1 although lacking on graphics the campaign map was great fun, and the battle map did its job just fine.
>females thrown at the arena
Not really, it was mostly rich senator daughters that fought in the arenas by their own free will.
Historians guess they loved the novelty of breaking into the boys club and the fame they got from doing something little woman did.
Sounds familiar ?
>not having an absolute bloodbath with few survivors.
Where's the fun in that?
Doesn't count if you have guns
what you say about my guns faggot?
TELL ME THAT FROM YOUR GRAVE.
I rather be in grave, than be dishonored.
I remember back in the original Shogun I would always call them the Frog Clan. I was playing as Imazu, beat the shit out of them after retreating from my main province in Honshu, then fighting back through the entire other island until it was just me and one other clan duking it out for the remaining half of the island.
They might have been able to handle the ancient bows. Maaaybe. What's stupider is to pretend that women would have able to physical stand in a shield wall and fight a melee battle. Roman Legionaries were rotated off the line every 15 minutes. The idea of women being able to do that is laughable.
Are you kidding me /v/?
Seriously, are you kidding me?
Like, holy shit. Being mad at a DLC that adds female troops is just fucktarded. So is calling it SJW shit. My fucking god it adds female troops. I don't see LGTB banners or links to tumblr, do you? I see female troops.
Woopty fucking do. You guys are why people hate gamers. You are grasping at straws looking for an excuse to bitch about SJWs. It really bugs me too, but this is just too much.
Nigga it looks like she is pulling a spear out. Even if she wasn't, and was indeed slapping his nuts around, then shit man that is just smart tactics. Opponents are much easier to kill if they are basically disabled. It could also just be, oh, you know, a joke. Not everything is a fucking political statement you fucks.
Fuck this board. You are all officially as bad as the feminazis. Constantly looking for shit to be upset about, and using any excuse to stick it to "the other side".
With that said TW2 sucked.
I don't know about any of the other units, but Rome did have female gladiators, fielding them on the battlefield as soldiers is less historically accurate, but they did exist and were seen as rather entertaining.
Git gud fgt
This was a battle I had practically won when the game bugged out in pause and wouldn't go back to normal speed so I had to concede defeat
>That's not normal behaviour
>it was a genuine question
>Imperial splendour is horseshit you fucking cunt
You really are one huge autistic ass-faggot, aren't you?
He had only 2200 men left out of his 13000 that came against my 6000 when the game bugged, while I had at least 2300 men ready to anihilate his remains.
I'm still mad
I just like posting this
>tfw just started downloading Medieval 2 for Europa Barbarorum 2
They were going to release the alpha last week and delayed it until tomorrow, no one assures that they won't do the same again
>tfw total war series were in my top3 favorite series of all time
>get this abortion when it came out
>"wow this shit is awful... going to give them some days to fix most of it so i can at least play it with no technical flaws"
>technical flaws persist for months
>after most of them get fixed i can now see that the rest of the game is also 2/10 generic arcade strategy simulator
i play napoleon total war at least a day per week for half an hour or so since 2010 - but this shit is so bad i don't even...
heh onna bushi save my ass many times during siege battles..
like it or not, strategy games need gunpowder to be strategical - or else they're going to end up in a massive drunk fight every single time
because they can't even into math
>pic related: a bunch of routed hussars with no experience killed 500 of my veteran army
>main point of the game is to kill motherfuckers mounted on fucking horses
>auto-solves every battle
do you even videogames or just paradox excel experience?
I want to
take off their hoods and rub their bald heads
>1 female unit in the entire game, they use naginata, a historically accurate weapon that women used in Japan
>Compares it to the exclusive all-female units released as DLC for Rome 2
Lol, just wow man.
