A few years after their initial releases. Both have issues though. One of the major things is that the prerendered cutscenes don't play. This isn't much of an issue since 95% of MGS's cutscenes are real time but you don't get the videos playing in the background of some cutscenes, which pretty much ruins the ending to 2 because it's all stock footage. If it's your first time playing the games I would suggest the HD/Legacy collection or emulating them.

Steam uses the dos version of xcom: enemy unknown, launches it in dosbox.

I bought the windows version in the re-release pack with the collectors edition. Steam does not use this newest version at all. This was not a dosbox version, and made many years later.
