HEY YOU, YES YOU ANON. YOU JUST NOTICED THAT I INCLUDED A PICTURE OF RCT AND YOU MAY THINK WHY I WOULD DO THAT. WELL ATARI HAS JUST ANNOUNCED ROLLER COASTER TYCOON WORLD. NOW YOU MAY THINK THAT THIS IS GOING TO BE TRANSACTION RIDDEN LIKE THE "GAME" THAT DOESN'T EXIST, BUT IF ATARI IS TELLING THE TRUTH, THEY WON'T. THIS BRAND NEW INSTALLMENT WILL ALSO INCLUDE CO OP MODE. THAT'S RIGHT, YOU CAN NOW GO INTO OTHER PARKS MADE BY OTHER PEOPLE AND DROWN THEIR GUESTS BEFORE THEY DO! NOW ON A SCALE OF EXTREMELY HYPED TO INFINITELY HYPED, HOW HYPED ARE YOU BITCH?
God damn I need a breather
just read it faggot.
And moot, if I fuck up my captcha on my post, why should I go back and type it all again? Fuck you.
Yeah, let's just hope it won't end up with DRM like Simcity did in the beginning. Atari is actually starting to learn from their mistakes of RCT4M so hopefully they won't redo history and the mistakes of others
I am cautiously optimistic right now. From what little I've read about the game they are trying to make an actual RCT game, and it has nothing to do with that abortion mobile-pay-to-win game.
I actually never played RCT 3, but I know a lot of people didn't like it or didn't think it was anywhere near as good as RCT 1 or 2. That game's almost 10 years old now, so I really hope they learned from their mistakes by now. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they fucked it up SimCity style.
The only reason why a lot of people didn't like RCT3 that much was because the 3D graphics weren't very good compared to the 2D. Other than that, it added a lot of features and had just as much depth as the first 2
I think they finally realised that RCT has one of the most hardcore fan bases of any old game. If they made anything that was even remotely diffierent from the old ones nobody would buy it.
Eh, I liked RCT3 as much as the other two. The free camera was really weird at first but it was pretty easy to get used to. As long as it is micro transaction free I don't think they can really mess it up.
>3D RCT with isometric camera. The freeform camera in RCT3 was terrible.
You fucking said it. 3 lost all the charm of the previous two games.
I will not get hype for such a game. Chris Sawyer has stated he has no involvement with RCT anymore. Atari allowed the RCT game to become a Facebook game. Why set yourself up for disappointment?
In the meantime, just play RCT 1 & 2 and come join the bro community in /vr/
>I will not get hype for such a game. Chris Sawyer has stated he has no involvement with RCT anymore. Atari allowed the RCT game to become a Facebook game. Why set yourself up for disappointment?
Enh. I'm merely hyped over the fact that it is a new RCT. Sure, Chris says he has no involvement with it, but it's not like Atari can't make good games anymore. If you just at least hope for it and try, maybe it will turn out to be good. And they basically stated that it has no microtransactions, so I guess that they are trying to learn from their mistakes.
Guys, are you ABSOLUTELY certain that Chris Sawyer has no involvement in the game? Look at the end of the video
It't the name, anon. Atari still holds the name of the company "Chris Sawyer" (like how Maxis's name is still on Simcity, but it's owned by EA)
But what if it is both 3D and isometric. Either way, I don't really understand the hate on freeflying view from RCT3.
>I have no involvement with the creation of Atari’s newly announced RCT games.
He's focusing on Transport Tycoon for mobile now, and get this, it's not a shitty micro-transaction game: http://www.transporttycoon.com/
>Other players' parks can be visited, and coaster blueprints can be shared online as well
You could literally do this since RCT1. There were sites that hosted the park files and coaster files.
this is like the 50th thread today, marketer
no gameplay, no hype
I'm cautiously optimistic, I know that there's a 99% chance it will be shit, but deep down I think that-
Nope I'm done, goodbye. Hype gone.
