An ideal way to handle challenge is to build a game with carefully developed difficulty settings, where every difficulty above the last presents a new array of obstacles that force the player into a different mindset, requiring them to approach the game again from a whole new angle, thus also giving the player the satisfaction of enjoying the game a whole new way, but if you either want to relax and not be a tryhard or want your family to get in on the fun, they can go easy modo instead and enjoy the game at a casual pace.
