Priscilla has a horsey and pretty good growths all around the board save for HP and Def. The difference is that you get Serra much earlier if you play Lyn's mode, so it may not be worth using Prissy if your Serra is already very good.

Basic units are exp fodder. There's no reason to find ursula other than if you want to kill her, which is not required and Jaffar handles the left side extremely well with his high dodge

Here's how you should do it. Set down a few guys that are very reliable/are good units eg Hector, Raven etc down the left wing to safeguard Jaffar just in case something goes wrong. Then, send your main attacking force down the right wing to join Nino. Destroy everything in the way to get to the prince. He should have killed the one fighter that managed to get into his room. After that, just stand your guard and let your thieves pick up the valuable items, including boots

Ursula's either on the bottom left side of the map or the bottom right (depending on if you're playing hard mode or hector, etc... don't remember exactly). Either way, send a larger force of units towards the prince's room via the side she isn't on. Have another group down the other side so you can rescue/recruit Jaffar and Nino. Bring Matthew if you can for extra view distance if you can.

Basically, approach the prince from the side ursula isn't on. I don't think you'll be in range; she doesn't move.

Maybe you could use Spotpass Micaiah, bust her down to dark mage and run her through it up to sorcerer, which is what you'll probably end it on. She comes as an endgame worthy sage right out of the box.

She comes with Tomefaire, mageline skills and two rallies, and if you end in sorcerer DLC Micaiah's Shadowgift is vestigial. The raw power difference between Sage and Sorcerer is a few points of magic and speed(and obviously the sorcerer's considerably higher defense).

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for that village to the right, which I need to spend the first few turns taking Marth over to in order to recruit Bantu and then return, because by the time I've done that the fortresses to the south have started spawning reinforcements and I can't go block them because I can't go near the Mercenaries, I don't think.

You basically want to do the chapter in as few turns as possible, so yeah have a Staff User with Rescue get Marth somewhere near the top of the other bridge.

Bring Gordin as a Cavalier(if you aren't using him) and your dancer and when possible try to recruit Jeorge and have Marth sieze the castle during the same turn,

So I'm playing Radiant Dawn for the first time and holy shit, why is the Dawn Brigade so fucking shit? WHY IS THE MAIN CHARACTER SO BAD? The only units that have been good so far are Sothe, Ilyana, Tauroneo, Jill, Zi- wait a fucking minute, all the characters from Path of Radiance, and Volug I guess, but he just seems so overpowered and I feel like I shouldn't be using him.

Also I've read that this game changes perspectives and shit, so you don't even get to keep your units?

Who the fuck should I be using and who should I be kicking to the curb?

God I've never felt so stressed choosing characters when playing a Fire Emblem game, I always just picked who I liked but now I'm all worried about who's even going to be available to me and I don't know what the fuck

Just keep leveling Micaiah and she'll max some of her stats. Then, use bonus exp to make sure she caps all her stats. Don't bother using new units if you don't want to, you can easily beat the game using only PoR units and the super cheap units when they aren't available.

I think the main problem is that they allocated how strong characters would be mostly based on their role in the story rather than how long you have them available.

So you have characters who can be used in the most chapters like Haar, Ike and co. starting stronger and getting more EXP than everyone else.

FE7 was quite annoying in some parts. At the start of Eliwood's route the only girl you have is Rebecca. Doing the first chapter without letting anyone die while using only a single archer for attacking wasn't particularly fun.

Marth couldn't quite reach Jeorge so I had to inch my Warp user forward two tiles and then have Feena dance for her, leaving her in danger from the enemies on the right.
Fortunately Cain managed to tank an attack and survived and I seized the fortress the next turn.
