Xenoblade isn't really a "main" franchise since the xeno series is not Nintendo exclusive.
Also it depends on what you mean by "main", because if you mean "most well known and are typically the face of Nintendo" franchises then your list would be halved.
No, but it's a very relevant, popular Nintendo franchise right now amongst core Nintendo gamers. Why do you have such a big problem with the Xenoblade series?
You don't stray too far do you.
Basically a successor to the Wario Ware games. Focusing mostly on keeping up with the rhythm.
Arguably one of the best games for the SNES and a massive cult classic
One of the best reboots of a series ever
You're kidding right
One of the best RPGs of the last gen.
My main gripe with Nintendo is that they have a fuckton of excellent IPs that they never do anything with. I get that Mario. Zelda, Pokemon and Kirby bring in the dosh and are the flagships. But Kid Icarus has proved that they can do a lot of good with their other IPs as well.

Wii Fit: 43.15 million
Mario Sports: 35.498 million
Kirby: 33 million
Brain Age: 32 million
Super Smash Bros.: 22.78 million
Mario & Sonic: 22.28 million
Nintendogs: 21.67 million

This is a list of Nintendo's top franchises in order of total sales.
Above list only includes Franchises that have surpassed 10 million sales total.
(Note: Picture to the left includes a list of all Nintendo IP's that I know about. Do know that the list is fairly old and may neglect a few of the more resent IP's.)
I wonder. Do we as consumers create the cycle of "rehashing" that people claim that Nintendo is in? I mean look at the numbers for Mario compared to the likes of Metroid. Is it any wonder why Nintendo tends to play it safe?
I've always preferred Nintendo's lesser known series.
ALL I WANT IS PANTS! A DECENT PAIR OF PANTS!
