At the very least, it seems that Kumazaki cares for Air Ride and the Dream Land games. In KSSU, Dyna Blade's boss fight plays the Castle Lololo theme much like the event, and Kirby Fighters uses the item boxes as well as the colors, with exception of purple. In its place is maskless Meta Knight.

I was playing with two other people, and we only managed to assemble dragoon once with two minutes left on the clock. The red boxes never spawn when you're actually looking for them.

Also, an FYI, two people can fit comfortably on one keyboard if you're emulating on Dolphin.

On another note, I got a cheat disk for my gamecube so i can stop the clock for infinite time and get a suped up machine, although I'm not using it at the moment because the gamecube i have is on it's last legs and struggles to read some disks

/v/ has an online Air Ride Steam Group. I've played with them when they first started out years ago. Not sure if they're still active though.

From my own experience, 3 players seemed to work fine. But with 4 the 4th guy kept desynchronizing so the 3 would be playing together while the 4th would be just wandering around aimlessly as the control inputs didn't match up and I'm guessing the 4th guy saw us 3 wandering around aimlessly on his computer.
I don't know if that was an issue with dolphin or just that guy having a bad connection or bad computer though.

With Dolphin being updated and has been used to online Melee, I'm guessing online Air Ride probably works better but the set up may be different than what I'm used to.

Because the GC uses simple LAN and Wii is all Peer to peer once you've connected through friendcodes, but emulating a GBA link cable is fucking ridiculous crazy and nobody has really done it well over the internet yet, since it's pretty much lagless.

Net has latency, so your link cable emu either has to run slowly or will desync like crazy.

You literally cannot beat the AI if they have a wagon.
As in, the AI isn't supposed to fuck up much, and is usually limited by having to boost every once in a while, which might put them in a less than favorable situation at times.
Put the fact that the wagon has both no boost and the best stats in the game together, and you just have something that can't be beat without a well upgraded legendary.

I had a friend who all but lived at my house growing up (His family was poor as fuck and had a sketchy lifestyle)

We played the fuck our of Air Ride, and sometimes when we got bored would compete with eachother, but most of the time we were just "farming" over and over trying to get King Deedee, or the Dyna event hoping to actually defeat them

So anyone want to try Netplay? I can host, although I'm not sure on the quality of the connection.

I'm actually the creator of the /v/ Air Ride group, and left when it unfortunately became inactive.
