I had this one as my desktop for a while and a friend asked me what it was. I asked him if he's seen S3 of Breaking Bad yet and when I said "no" I told him I didn't want to spoil it for him. About a year later he texted me and told me he still doesn't get how it's related to Breaking Bad.
The ones that turn 360 degrees and walk away.
So apparently my punishment for never playing the original Deus Ex is to fully complete Gone Home one-billion times over while centipedes slowly devour my dick.
I mean, I could complain but the guys who were never able to beat the Asylum Demon got it way worse.
probably all the stuff he witnessed during his childhood in wartime poland
These books actuall traumatized me as a kid. I had to see a psychiatrist.
Also the original braer rabbit storires traumatized med. Had to see a psychiatrist for those, too. Fuck books.
Yeah, they even got you stuttering anon.

It sounds so fitting,
>>Implying Charon is a jew
>>Implying the afterlife isn't just optional content
>>Implying a single lifetime doesn't have enough worthwhile content to justify paying full price even without the DLC
Not the same guy but theres some pretty old images from 40k that I still love to this day, even though I havent played the actual boardgame in almost 6~7 years or so now
I have a couple posters from old Games Day's I went too. Several signed by the artist themselves too.
Now i just feel old
i ain't falling for your tricks and traps again mister
How do artists become artists?
I tried drawing a few years ago and I was terrible. I'll never be as good as Vellejo or frazetta
Why is this at all believable? Now I regret not stringing my friend along more often.
Goddamn, Beksi?ski was one crazy motherfucker, such a shame that he died. Imagine if he was an art director for some game, shit would be downright 2spooky4me.
Have the ability to know when something looks like shit.
Have the ability to temporarily overcome the crippling sense of insecurity once you realize something you drew looks like shit.
Be persistent enough keep practicing until you create your own style that you don't think is quite shit.
I was just wondering if he was trying to boost the realism of his ruse or if some anon went along because he thought he knew what the fuck he was talking about and now looks like quite the fool
>we need bad imitation of his art for a videogame
No, no thanks. I understand you kids discovered him because of this place but some of us respected him as an artist way before that
I don't think his paintings are that spooky in a horror movie kind of way, more like an ancient temple that needs further investigation kind of way.
Beksi?ski had one hell of a hard life. His wife died and a year later his son committed suicide (he was the one to find the dead body, by the way), and he died after being stabbed by a kid he refused to loan money to.
He also claimed that most of his drawings/paintings were optimistic/humorous.
>Mother Brain theme kicks in while browsing thread
>kept browsing without realizing
I-I didn't need sleep anyway.
Even entities constructed in the shape of a cat can be cool.
>u wot m8? ah'll fooken hook u rite in the gabber u fooken cunt,
Can anyone weigh in on the best artbooks for Beksinski and Giger art?
Necronomicon 1 & 2 seem good for giger,
but what about beksinski?
collected works volumes 1-3 or is "fantastic art of beksinski" an acceptable or preferable alternative?
I wonder if this what Giger actually dreamed of
why aren't we funding this
>TFW you got sent to the halls of ironic punishment for playing Tokyo Jungle
I hate being a Sika Deer. All the Hellhounds keep chewing me to pieces and I just respawn the next day.
I will say though, I really feel bad for the guys who played Persona. Taking a thorned incubus dick right in the ass when you're a delicious brown schoolgirl doesn't look like fun.
>an ancient temple that needs further investigation kind of way.
Yeah, I think so too, but still the paintings have this eerie aura of uneasiness. I think his imagery would be perfect for a darker toned exploration game.
>hurrr durrr look at me I knew him before everyone else
> incubus dick right in the ass when you're a delicious brown schoolgirl
Nigga, are we talking about hell? Because for a moment I thought you were talking about paradise
>search for the artist
>some pretty cool images, got to save them
>after a while start feeling sick
>like really uncomfortable
i just remember that my father used to have a book with this one picture of a painting sort of like this. It was a face composed by a series of distorted bodies, wish i knew what the name was so i could see it again.
you guys you guys. This painting... is totally of the real world. All the beauty of nature is actually just an illusion on the inside of a weird bloodcrusty building in a creepy twilit limbo.
Fucked up about there, it's getting late where I am.
Using polygons or 2d sprites would fucking kill it, we would need Beksinski to still be alive and some sort of ethereal ghost-like graphics engine
But even a cheap imitation of his art for a game would be 10,000x better looking than all surreal/horror games out there
In what circle of hell will you spend your eternity, /v/?
Good to see I'm not the only one that likes the idea of hell to be more like Beksinski art or these:
Than the usual lava wasteland with horned demons. This is so much more disturbing.
ARE ALL THESE BEKSINSKI PAINTINGS AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY IN THESE SHITTY RESOLUTIONS?
WERE THEY ALL SCANNED IN 1997?
This one time I was searching through my grandfather's stuff as a kid and I found this book that had kid's names A-Z and them dying from a disease with their corresponding letter. Still a little sketched out by him.
What a fucking faggot. Are you happy to be an hipster?
I hate to bring SCP shit up, but does anyone know what the one that used these sorts of pictures as an inspiration was called?
That story was legimately disturbing to me, despite it being basically just Necromorphs or some shit.
Also, there was another story with some weird alternate dimension shit, with creepy religious shit, and massive dark monstrosities that absorbed people.
If anyone knows the names of either of these stories, I'd appreciate if you shared them.
Time to be a complete art pleb but at least make this thread more vidya related
I guess Zdzis?aw doesn't count so I will just name other
>some of us respected him as an artist way before that
And that makes you so much better than all the other people who like his art, right.
>Sung to the tune of 'Robot Hell'

Just read our giant ToU!
>"There must be gamers worse than I"
But you're the easiest to screw
>"Then please let me explain, my crimes were merely idle boasts"
You wrote a thousand Anita shitposts!
>"Awww don't blame me, blame our board culture!"
Feed his liver to the vulture!
And I'm out. Signing off with one of my fave Bekinskis.
40k is older than your dad, newfriend.
>not having two meat horse demons and pure virgin sacrifice with a gregorian ebony relief wall
I want to frame this next pictures
Kinda reminds me of
by Tomasz Bagi?ski
I can imagine a videogame like that, co-oping your way to the city as demons crawl out of the holes in the ground and start massacring everyone.
It would be so hard that you would only need ONE of your party members to reach the city for you to all respawn. Like Left 4 Dead, actually, just with demons.
>People unironically post things like "PC master race" and defend thinly veiled porn threads
I like to imagine Beksinski's is genuinely what hell looks like, because nothing horrifies me more than the prospect of wandering through it.
I want to see the Heaven equivalent.
jesus christ this is..so..fucking intense and I don't even know what's happening
>people unironically think a flexible, not locked-down platform is a superior choice for gaming
do they not know pcs are for spreadsheets and pirating king of the hill or something
Hey /v/, I think you'll enjoy this
Roger Dean is my wallpaper source lately- so ethereal.
