It's the fastest selling Mario Kart game yer, but it won't keep selling much for much longer because of a simple reason. There aren't that many WiiU's sold. Mario Kart Wii sold 30 million copies. That's 4 times as many WiiU's are sold.

It's quite a unfortunate fate for the game. It seems to be the best in the series but because of the console doing badly, it won't sell as well as it deserves. With Nintendo winning e3, I hope to see the WiiU picking up steam.

The gamepad feels just fine and it's used in a lot of great ways in a lot of games. Having inventory and maps use a different screen is useful and it means you can do 2 player local games without having to use splitscreen. It also makes 1 v 4 games viable, which Nintendoland actually does a really good job of showcasing

I have all three consoles because I have the means to do so and here's my take:

Ps4: great interface, flawless switching of apps, nice graphics, comfy controller, streaming is flawless, party chat is excellent.

Ps4 flaws: (from my experience) would never turn off it I selected off after pressing the ps button. It would always make a humming noise. I was playing ffxiv while in team chat with two others and it bricked. Won't turn on, it is kill.
Lost hope.

Xbox one: great interface, awesome speech recognition, nice graphics, built larger to stay cool in hotter environments, better launch titles, awesome party chat, kinect is awesome (if you aren't a tinfoil.) THE most superior controller, game clips within friends list. Skype.

Xbox flaws: frame rate drops occasionally.

Wii u: monster hunter was fun. Mk8 was just like 7 but gravity and nice colors. I want to sell it.

Ok and then there is the PC: great graphics, models, can use whatever team chat you want, gets the better game (if it's a great team who ports.) kb and m, freedom with mods, steam if that's your thing.

PC flaws: exclusives to each console.
