The 3D games had better stories and more things to do then in the "HD" games. Why is Rockstar acting like it's ashamed of them or that these "HD" games are better then them? The HD games fucking suck! There is less shit to do in the cities, the stories lines try to be deep but fail miserably. The cities are all barren and empty and lack personality( or that may just be because they're modeled on American cities, Yakuza does a much better job of putting you in an exciting city) The heists are admittedly cool but they're not enough of them to make it worth the purchase. San Andreas/Vice City are still the kings of the franchise. as for the HD games, it's sad that the Ballad of Gay Tony and the Lost and the Damned are still the best games in the series.

The only redeeming feature is GTA Online but that's not classic GTA. It's basically a GTA styled MMORPG wrapped up inside another game. It's not even the same kind of game.
