Nice chapter, though Mel taking out the NC just to make out really bugs me. Any Doctor would know that's just going to put more strain on her heart without that supply of oxygen... Also, I didn't really notice the teeth thing, except for her extreme lack of gum color, Mel looks like she's severely anemic.

You can't walk into an OR in street clothes. But Mel shouldn't be tying her own surgery gown--with her sterile gloves on. There also shouldn't be hair escaping her cap, and the anesthesiologist should be a doctor himself, not having to tell the surgeon that Lynn's body temp has decreased. Not to mention the ethics of operating on someone you have a personal relationship with--though Mel is assisting so maybe that's different.

I'm not sure they ever explained exactly what Lynn's condition is. If she's in left sided congestive heart failure, she wouldn't be beautifully reclining in a hospital bed. She'd be pissing every hour on furosemide, having a really shitty time breathing--feeling like she'd drowning, and be losing weight like crazy.

Let's be honest: the medical parts of this comic are shit.

Normally that should be impossible to her being Lynn exact match, but then for drama of this story the author might pull something like this, after all Mel loves riding a bike and we all know that the riders like that are the best organ donors, so who knows if Mel wouldn't hurt herself fatally to give her own heart to Lynn.

More likely she will call Sue a bitch if she will actually learn the truth from her why Mel left her in first place.

Maybe Sue will tell her Mel left her after she damaged her but will ommit the mention she cheated on her with a guy who she later proposed to marry for influence and money while still wanting to be with Mel.

It's pretty certain Sue will try to make Mel the big bad girl here to try to dismantle Lynn from Mel life as her top priority to make Mel suffer.
But Lynn will catch on that which in return I bet will go into blackmail angle for the heart: if she will leave Mel she will get the heart if not then she will die etc.

Medical law is too long to read, all those rules and acts so I advise you to simply use Google and see what doctors says about it themselves. It's normal and common for them to treat their family, surgically too. It something thay goes way back in history, when there was 1 doctor for a town, if not for a few towns. We can have 1 hospital for a town these days, lots of patients, not many doctors. Besides if a doctor is one of a kind, a very high specialist, best of the best, h/she would for sure do the operation of h/she felt ok with it, which they usually do.

Pulse is on Hiatus and back in early July, it seems that might be the final arc. Ill miss Pulse because I really enjoy it. But if it means the next project Will be a side story about Ice & ploy from lily love I'll be quite content with that.
