Wdtfs ends in June.

After its end, Team Gaji taking a short hiatus.

After a short hiatus, TG is going to release some special chapters which are SejuSumin first falling in love, LawyerDawoon, SungjiSumin stories.
>>
>>2307617
Probably because she knows she'll jump on Seju, no matter what.

I'm already seeing it, TG will milk the story endlessly, have to make money for that soju.
>>
I do not quite understand why Sungji would like to think about the next thing and then give an answer.
The first thing was whether Sumin still had a chance or not. There was not really an answer to this question.
And now that with Seju.
I thought it was good to see that Sungji makes it clear that Sumin belongs to her.
>>
>>2307698
Yeah and so many Korean fans have requested them to do the SejuSumin first falling in love story even from the start till now.
>>
>>2307712
It's really something I would love to see. They were amazing together.

Also, I guess they should have showed the bartender, I mean, we know Seju was drunk, but did they go all the way? Looks like that, but what if they just sleep naked? it's something that could change the whole thing...
>>
>>2307717
>showing het
No.
>>
>>2307787
I am not saying to show them fucking, it's just a damn guy...I am just saying that the details of it could change the story
>>
>>2307792
The guy still spooned her naked. His arm were wrapped around her pretty tightly. They at the very least touched parts.
>>
>>2307674
>>2307676
Still waiting for english edition.
>>
>>2307794
Yes, but we are not 100% sure they went all the way. Maybe Seju was too drunk that she passed pit naked, the only way to know it would be someone asking the bartender
>>
>>2307674
>>2307676
what is that?
is it about the story or is it another story?
>>
>>2307798
Looks like extras from paperback of vol 1 and 2.
>>
>>2307797
>Yes, but we are not 100% sure they went all the way
Honestly? Even if they didn't, which is highly unlike, it really doesn't change the story at all. Sumins and Seju broken relationship was more than just that incident. And if nothing really happened, Seju would have said it to Sumin when she was begging her to not go after Sumin finding out.
Bringing this scene back will only make Seju more hated
>>
Sumin's facial expression is priceless. She must be embarrassed of her childish gf or herself
>>
>>2307799
ah ok.
>>
>>2307839
I died when Sungji said that Sumin's face was pretty much a dime a dozen, you could find it anywhere on the streets. That seemed to resonate with Sumin a bit since she referenced it in bed. Either that or she jokingly mentioned it to cheer up Sungji.

>"For me, there is only Sumin."
>"What do you think will happen?"
>"Are you sure about that?" (footsie)
>"If whatever happens happens, then just leave her and find somebody else."
> Purposely not wearing clothes around the house
Seju's boldness towards Sungji and Sumin is surprisingly hot.

I'm also going to throw my hat in for Sungji leaving Sumin.
>>
>>2307858
I have also this strange feeling that Sungji will leave Sumin.
>>
>>2307868
i wish. sumin is a piece of shit

I'm happy Sumin realizes this. It's about time she stopped demonizing Seju and realized that they both played a part in damaging the relationship (before and after).
>>
>>2307967
Deep down, Sumin already knew this, she just didn't want to admit it, even to herself.
>>
>>2307994
Yea but even, but she just want to move on how normal people would do so.
>>
>>2307839
She still looked at Seju when Sungji hugged her.
>>
>>2307999
It's certainly embarrassing to her.
>>
>>2307611
Sungji is indeed a sucker for a pretty face.
>>
>>2308007
Especially when she wants to fuck both of them.
>>
>>2307896
>>I dont trust Seju

Poor Sungji, I thought she would open up to Seju by now. Seju is a strong woman and it seems like her bond with Sumin is eternal.
>>
>>2308024
I'm not a big Sungji fan, but I really don't blame her here. In fact, she has shown a lot of understanding for the situation already, especially for the woman her gf cheated on her with.
>>
>>2308024
>>2308034
I think Sungji knows that the most untrustworthy person here is SUMIN, but she just can't admit it and blame it all on Seju
>>
>>2308047
This is true. It takes two people to cheat.

I would have preferred it if Sungji showed more strength and left the house. Let Sumin's emotions and guilt fester a bit. I want to see Sumin take initiative for once and chase after Sungji.

My prediction is that the assassin's next move is on Sumin, but Sungji will step in and get injured. I'm also with everyone else that Sungji is going to be the martyr and leave Sumin. Maybe all this assassin and living together stuff is going to reaffirm Sungji's insecurities that Sumin/Seju have an unbreakable bond and love and she's going to make the tough decision for Sumin.

Sungji seems to live within her thoughts a lot and we've seen a lot of parallels where Sungji keeps trying to do stuff similar to Seju. Almost like she wants to overwrite Sumin's experiences with Seju.

So much to everyone's dismay, I think endgame will be Sumin/Seju, but Sungji will find her own happiness. Either that or she dies.
>>
>>2308080
The fuck? Why would she die? I don't believe it's that kind of scenario that's going to happen.

It's just 3 options:
- Sumin & Seju
- Sumin & Sungji
- Wild card end
>>
Im excited for Seju to pussyblock the couple since Sumin has to keep her around all the time.
>>
>>2308080
I was teampink but I really don't believe there is a chance they are endgame, neither Sungji will be a martyr or anything. I think there is going to be done drama from Seju's side (assasin, maybe Seju trying something on Sumin, etc) but the main couple will remain steady.
Also Sungji's character will remain more or less like this too. Gurl got cheated and took Sumin back in no time and without any restrain.

No need to be mad about kind anon doing some corrections. We appreciate your effort but if some corrections needed on some part, it is not a way of degrading your work but more on helping you. Kind anon corrections makes a lot more sense on some part actually. Think of this as a group effort for better understanding the story and that way, more people will like wdtfs and possible more into fandom. But if you don't like that or just not into it or you just prefer self-help, no one is forcing you to do the translations. Thanks for the effort.
>>
Yea i don't think Sumin/Sungji will last....
Correct me if I'm wrong, Sumin and Seju broke up like 10 years ago? and were still going at it with their hookups and passive aggressive behavior during that time....and they kinda still are. Now that they admitted a few things to one another and talked about their relationship and feelings and what not (regardless of Sungji) i agree with the others that in the end it will be sumin/seju. Their bond is way deeper than sumin/sungji, and not the kind that will go away.

Thanks for the prompt raws. Whoever ends up translating, thank you and take your time.

Honestly at this point, I'm okay whether Sumin ends up with Seju or Sungji, since I can argue both points and I like them both... but I feel like Seju "deserves" and needs her more. Sungji is young, beautiful. Her whole life is ahead of her and it won't have drama. Let Sumin and Seju spend the rest of their life in their own drama (including the evil family). Seju has more than atoned for her sins, and honestly Sumin lost a leg to stand on anyway since she cheated too (worse, imo).

I lost my shit for a second because I thought the assassin hit the light switch, but then I realized it was Sumin because of her blazer.
>>
>>2314852
>and honestly Sumin lost a leg to stand on anyway since she cheated too
Thanks to the manipulative person who cheated on her. I guess Seju loves cheating in general.
>>
>>2314863
Agree that Seju is manipulative since she pulled the guilt-trip card on her. But she certainly didn't force her to the office bedroom or to drink alcohol (I assume drinks were has since Sumin was red).

Seju's flirting in the recent raw is sly as fuck. Like a... fox.
>>
>>2314863
I think Seju just loves Sumin (and Sumin only) and she'll do and say anything to keep her in her life. Ends justify the means? Sumin certainly does enable her a bit though.

so, is sungji saying thank you to sumin as a team leader or also as a lover? and why is sungji angry at sumin? i'm a little bit confused right now.
>>
>>2315009
Sumin is simply enjoying this too much.
>>
>>2315062
Sungji is angry for being put in this situation. She has to stand by as her girlfriend is living together with the ex that she cheated on her with. Sumin admits that there's lingering feelings that she won't act on and the ex isn't exactly being docile either. Sungji is still insecure as fuck about, well, everything. She was starting to feel better about the cheating incident, but this living arrangement (with the mistress!) put her back.

I would have noped the fuck out, especially after Seju taunted Sungji with her words and playing footsie with Sumin. Unless the sex was that fucking good, it'd be too much drama for me to stick around.

When Sumin and Seju were going to have sex for the first time, Sumin was super nervous (and drunk). So she said "Open sesame" when she was trying to (nervously) unbutton Seju's blouse. It was cute.

I'm surprised they waited that long to finally fuck. Seju did ask why and Sumin pretty much replied that she wanted to wait until there were no obstacles so they'd be able to remember their first time without regrets or negativity. I think this flashback was triggered by Sungji being so eager to fuck and Sumin concerned that she wouldn't be able to make her first time a happy, memorable experience. Speaking of which, man... Sungji's got a lot of tainted "first" experiences.
>>
>>2315089
>>2315091
also is seju the problem for sungji?
ok. i don't think that sumin can make sungji really happy. the bond between sumin and seju is to strong for sungji.
and i think that sungji can't trust sumin although she said that to sumin.
and in this chapter sungji gives me the feeling that she is a little depressed about many things. sungji wants to think about so many things. i don't know, sungji deserves better.

>and got rid of zippy anon water mark
Water marks aren't an easy think to remove from something. More likely they found a RAW and plastered in the translation on top of it.
>>
>>2315340

still sounds unfair.
>>
Man, I really don't see what's so difficult for these individuals and groups about crediting the appropriate people and sources. I don't think /u/ is particularly stingy about sharing stuff as long as you aren't cancerous about it and pay your respects. I feel like even if the watermarks were obnoxious and ran through actual panels, they'd still find a way to fuck it up.

>>2315289
Sungji must have a perpetual migraine from all this drama she's got to deal with and think about all the time. I really do think she's going to end up leaving Sumin. She's insecure enough as it is and already grapples with the bond that Sumin and Seju share.

>>
Since nobody knows what the assassin looks like but Seju, I'm predicting that the new manager is the assassin. Next chapter's cliffhanger will be Team Assassin Leader greeting everybody, as she shoots an ominous look towards Sungji, who is none the wiser.

Sungji is gonna be the next target that leads her to Sumin (Seju's "weakness"). Assassin did say that this particular mission is more enticing because there's no death requested and the background information on Seju is interesting.

Sumin : It's normal to be awkward around your boss/superior.

Sungji : Team leader, is the new team leader a good person/ok person? I'm a little worried.

I knew there was something wrong with the way Sumin was looking at Seju. Why does this have to be like that???? No, I just want Sumin and Sungji to be together. Good to know. I'm really up for a threesome now. Enough of drama already. Polygamy might not be bad after all. Still poor Sungji, though.

So what exactly does she mean by "earlier"?
>>
>>2316779
Maybe when her parents died? and she was depressed? Sumin wanted seju to say that to her when they dieded instead of cheating
>>
>>2316795
Somehow I'm sure that Seju would've said that to Sumin countless times in that month since she seems to be "better with words" and more lovey-dovey than Sumin is, however.
>>
>With Chapter 72, it seems like the story is trying to state that Sungji mainly cares about Sumin's face/appearance, and that they've been hinting at this for a while. As we've seen before, the thought that Sungji cares so much about how she looks seems to bother Sumin. She looked worried and sad at the end of this chapter. So I'm thinking that Sumin's means that five minutes are not going to be a enough to fix this issue.
>Since I prefer the Sumin and Sungji pairing, I'm hoping that the story doesn't make it out to be that Sungji doesn't truly love Sumin and then have Sumin realize that Seju is the one for her.

Crap.
>>
> I know that /u/ don't like comparisons with K-Dramas but it's what happened though. Usually they have a pre-plot ready and start the story, everybody loves it and shit, but then they split the story in seasons, and usually the following plot it's after the feedback, and it's almost certain that they go with what the majority of the audience wants, and it's then that everything goes to shit, the story sometimes take a 180 turn, forgets characters, there's plot holes, anyway y'all got my point.

What is the consensus here? Pink or blonde?

>>2316776
>The thing is I just don't want Sungji's first love to be in vain.
Honestly, Sungji's first love is already a mess. Way too much unnecessary emotional drama that she shouldn't even be considering. Sumin tells her this too, but Sungji still wants in. Frankly, Sungji is still very naive.

>>2316805
Fuck. This makes sense. There are lots of hints and subtle points made about Sungji being drawn to Sumin's face (e.g. incessant pictures taken). I'm going to also agree with some of the previous anons that Sungji is gonna leave Sumin because it's obvious that Sumin's connection to Seju is everlasting and strong. Either that, or Sumin herself will make the tough call that she *needs* Seju, especially now that her life is at stake and there's a possibility that Sumin's choice might be forcibly made for her.

>>2316810
Agree with you on the k-drama style of telling stories, since I do watch k-dramas. Team Gaji may be trying to shift majority opinion towards Seju again because the whole endgame from the very beginning was supposed to be Seju. This whole manhwa has been a rollercoaster. To be honest, for the beginning to middle of the story, I was wholeheartedly Team Sungji. But the last ten chapter's or so... I'm definitely Team Seju now. They both deserve and need each other. Sungji is looking increasingly one dimensional and shallow (which Sumin has actually stated a few times). Even now, nobody including Sungji knows *why* she loves Sumin soooo much despite everything.

Plot twist: Sungji and assassin are in cahoots.

I feel like I'm exactly Team Gaji's target audience and I'm falling right into all the feelings they want me to feel, kek.
>>
>>2316858
>from the beginning

>>
>>2316779
when she only loved Seju but didn't want to admit the fact, meeting random girls, wandering so she was still an empty shell.
>>
>>2316877
Okay thanks so that means prior to the time Sumin first met Sungji.
>>
>Seju in my opinion, is much more fleshed out as a character. We can see her problems, why she acts the way she does, her family history and her own trainwreck of a history with her relationship to Sumin. It makes for really good drama and makes Seju the much more interesting girl. For a fictional story, she's the "better" character and the one I initially rooted to win the Sumin bowl.
>Sungji on the other hand is a normie. She's got no bad family history from what I can tell. She never wronged anyone in a relationship. She might even be a virgin before she met Sumin. Compared to Seju, she's the "boring" character, but Sungji is the right choice in the end because she has none of the bullshit and nasty history that Seju has. Sungji isn't cray, just inexperienced. For a fictional story, Sungji is suffering from a lack of character buildup compared to Seju, but in real life, Sungji is the clear winner.
>No shitty past, no weird fucked up relationship, unlike Seju, Sungji is the safe and imo, better choice for Sumin.

Yesssssssssssss.
>>
>Sungji is madly in live with Sumin for unexplained reasons.

Isn't this what love supposed to be? If you knew why you're infatuated with/limerent over someone you could've stopped this fucking miserable train a long time ago.
>>
>>2316859
It's a story of healing (forgiveness?) and so much of the story has been devoted to fleshing out their past, Seju's backstory, and the parallels drawn between Sumin/Seju experiences. At the risk of sounding really corny, I think the whole story was supposed to be about Seju and Sumin's journey through love and all the obstacles they faced. I was really expecting TG to flesh out Sungji's backstory because she had a lot of potential. It actually seemed like they were setting up for it, but then it just never happened. Don't get me wrong, I adore Sungji, but she remains a very one-dimensional character. So one-dimensional compared to how much time they spent developing Seju (past and present), that it would feel like all the plot devices and character development would be in vain if Sumin/Sungji were endgame.

Plus, given the fact that TG has stated Seju won't die and they haven't spent any time whatsoever preparing a "future" for Seju (New job? New friend? Relocation? New hobby?), I literally cannot think of any other end game where all three of them can have long-term happiness. A threesome is completely out of the picture. Completely uncharacteristic.

>>2316885
Sungji has said this to her friends and Sumin... that it was love at first sight. Which quite frankly is shallow. Everybody should have at least three reasons, not pertaining to looks and sex, for why they love someone. And apparently Sungji can't even name one.

This. This period of time Seju decided to step back and just watch and let Sumin do her thing (work it out of her system). But she really should have been relentless in her pursuit of showing Sumin how much she loves her.

I'm sure easier said than done since Seju was filled with all the guilt in the world (Sumin's emotional and physical scars).
>>
Both Seju and and Sumin are destructive, I find their relationship unhealthy. Sungji is the only one who has some integrity, the only one who didnt sleep around at every given opportunity.
>>
>>2316933
This is a fact. And it is because of this fact that Sumin/Seju should finally communicate and repair what they have. That and I want Sungji to stay far, far away from them. Chalk this up to a learning experience with some great sex and pursue a new romance that won't stress her the fuck out.
>>
Im not so sure Sumin and Seju are endgame. When Sumin was away on Business it was Sungji she was missing and not Seju.
>>
>>2316947
Sumin's love for Seju is no longer romantic. It's more like familial love. Or maybe it's something more messed up and hard to explain.

>>
>>2316965
I think she was a bit irrational at the moment, the tragedy was too big, too sudden.
>>
>>2316959
Completely disagree that her love for Seju is familial... or even out of obligation. Sumin spent a decade trying to blame Seju for everything under the sun and denying she still loved her. But she finally admitted to herself (and to Seju and Sumin) that she loves Seju. At this point now, she's just trying to do what she *thinks* is right. Her heart wants Seju, but her brain is telling her the *right* move is to move on from the past and embrace the present. Sumin is constantly battling between her thoughts and her feelings. Sungji keeps telling Sumin to "follow your heart, listen to it," confidently thinking that Sungji is the one in Sumin's heart, but as the chapters go on, I think even Sungji is starting to (painfully) realize that she's not the one in Sumin's heart.

Personally, I think Sumin's love for Sungji is one born of:
>physical attraction and now heightened due to guilt ("I wronged her, but she's still giving me a second chance I don't deserve") and
>pragmatism ("Sungji is a beautiful, clean innocent girl that loves me, so I shouldn't waste this opportunity and love her too").
>>
>>2316947
why wouldn't she? she almost caught a fish but lost it
>>
>>2316724
Because Sumin is the reason Seju lives. Being with Sumin gives her a will to live and this would lead herto be careful about her safety. Besides, just being with Sumin itself makes her feel safe than anything else.
>>
>>2316998
>she almost caught a fish but lost it

>>
>Sumin admitted she loved Sungji and Seju

Surprised Sumin hasn't gone bat-shit insane yet with all this mental gymnastics. But for what it's worth, she has tried to get away from Seju multiple times but keeps getting dragged back (Seju brother attack, Seju buying the house she wanted, Seju buying the company she worked for, and countless other Seju guilt-trips).

Now that I think about it... Sumin is kind of all but forced to stay with Seju. Even if Seju dies, it comes with a burden of guilt on Sumin.

It would be so tragic if Sungji got caught up in the drama and died. I can't think of a more innocent victim. I think she'd get hurt protecting Sumin (the real target).

>everlasting
Doesn't mean you couldn't get out of that codependent relationship if you really want to. Why does nobody understand that they are toxic for each other and they would only continue to destroy their lives by keeping the status quo. Sometimes you just have to make the heart-wrenching decision to LEAVE somebody you love (romantically or platonically) if it means that you two will have the chance to start your own damn lives again. No, a simple yes lets come back together won't solve their fucking problems.
>>

>>
>>2318814
>Why does nobody understand that they are toxic for each other and they would only continue to destroy their lives by keeping the status quo.
I think it's more so toxic precisely because they're keeping the status quo. They're both in denial and refusing to communicate about the things that have happened and their feelings. It's like Sumin said, they're cowards because they couldn't even end things properly.

They need to communicate properly and be honest with their inner feelings. No more vendetta games and passive behaviors. Only when they *finally* do this will they be able to either properly end things or properly start over.
>>
>>2318829
This. I think they haven't talked about their feelings for so long because they were scared of losing each other forever if they did. It's easier to hate fuck instead of resolving their problems, but at least Sumin really tried hard to move on from Seju and now they are stuck together again
>>
>>2318829
>>2318837
Agree with you both and I say this as somebody who used to be diehard Team Blonde. Sungji has had some nice moments with Sumin, but let's be real... Sumin's not in love with her and she never will be until she resolves feelings about Seju. Sungji was practically pulling teeth to make that relationship work and true love is supposed to flow naturally. Plus, Sungji is so sweet and innocent that I feel terrible her first love was plagued with insecurities, drama, and betrayal. Remember when Sungji and Dawoon dated briefly and how Sumin was on Sungji's mind all the time? That's basically been Sumin/Seju her entire relationship with Sungji.

Honestly, I don't think Team Gaji meant for Sungji to be as puremaiden as she's currently portrayed. There's literally no flaw to her past or present besides maybe she's a little shallow? Another anon earlier mentioned that it seemed like TG was setting up a backstory for Sungji, but it ended up getting lost. If so, that's a shame.

For Sungji's sake, I want her to go far, far away from those two and find a new pure love where she doesn't have to chase affection. Would have been nice if it was with Dawoon, but you can't force love. At least Dawoon was mature and understanding about it.

Seju and Sumin honestly deserve each other because they both have so much permanent baggage that it'd just be toxic to any new partner no matter how much they tried to conceal it. That and I truly believe they're both still in love with each other... just a decade's worth of denial and fear that's complicating things.

Sumin's love for Seju is the love of first love, I think. Sumin's love for Sunji is a blossoming one. She's an asshole. Period.
>>
>>2320514
I feel like there's almost a sense of duty and obligation to her love with Sungji, too. I agree with what an anon before said where Seju is what her heart wants, but Sungji is what her brain is directing her to. In the beginning, there was definitely attraction to Sungji because she's beautiful and was not easily seduced. But over time, I think that "love" transformed into "doing the right thing," and "I love her because she loves me and she's a good person. Also, I fucked her over and she actually forgave me. Wow, I'm a hypocrite."

Both Sungji and Sumin are so insecure together. We don't really see them having deep conversations and any conversations or interactions not related to skinship or sex show Sumin seemingly mentally disagreeing or confused.
>Sungji = "Am I the one in Sumin's heart? Can I compete against her first love?"
>Sumin = "What does she even love about me? Is she only attracted to my face?"
>>
That would be every average couple in this world. I don't think it's fair to call Sungji and Sumin insecure while a lot of het couples are like them in real life, they hit it off and going out, pretty normal. Seju and Sumin is dark and if they were to get back if ever, it's so sad. It just won't work.
>>
The sad thing is that Sumin is forever bound to Seju in some way due to the physical and psychological scarring she went through via Seju's brother. It's kind of hard to get over someone if you have a constant reminder of them right there on your upper arm.

I'm guessing anon was calling you overdramatic.
>>
>>2320668
I don't agree that she's still in love with Seju. She may love her as her first love but that kind of love is a past tense.
>>
>>2320671
She was physically tortured. Torture leaves psychological effects behind on the victims. Not quite sure how that is over-dramatic. Also it clearly shows in chapter 50 that it has an effect on her. I haven't taken anything out of context.
>>
>>2320677
I have no idea to be honest. She definitely feels something towards her but but whether it's actually love or not i am unsure of.
>>
>>2320679
Clinging onto the idea of "unhealable emotional scars" is the definition of overdramatic.
>>
>>2320686
She may be able to heal the emotional scars but she still has the physical scars and now a tattoo covering them. As far as i'm aware getting both removed is not an easy task. So as long as she even has the physical scar and tattoo the reasoning behind them can not be ignored. And the reasoning is Seju's family and by extension her.
>>
>>2320686
This. The most healthy choice Sumin can make for herself now is to move on with Sungji and CUT TIES with Seju.
>>2320668
No doubt that Seju would alsao need some shrink visits. Anyhow, Sungji can still stay by Sumin's side to support her. Mentally ill/unstable (are there words that have weaker connotations than these?) people deserve love, too but misery loves company is just a recipe for disaster. Moreover, nobody's saying that once you're (emotionally/physically/sexually) abused, you will be scarred for life. Granted, there's no cure for trauma but that's the whole point of therapy, isn't it? To find better new ways to cope with your pain, accept that you can't change the past, acknowledge it, find out what works for you and what doesn't while continuing moving on with your life, no matter how two steps forward one step back it might seem.

Agreed Sumin needs to seek professional help, but I'm afraid she might sleep with her too because apparently all of Korea wets themself at the sight of Sumin.
>>
>>2320686
Also i originally used the word "psychologically" not "emotionally" for a reason.
>>
>>2320692
(Cont) To clarify, I think all three of them could benefit from psychological help. Seju and Sumin individually for obvious reasons, or even together as couples counseling if they're going to continue a relationship. Sungji I feel internalizes a lot of thoughts and emotions and seems to view herself as an outsider, slower than the rest of the world. She could use a professional ear to work on that and to possibly unpack some of the baggage she's experienced with Seju and Sumin.
>>
>>2320686
Of course it's overdramatic, but humans aren't perfect. People have clung to "lesser" emotions and incidents. I think as readers on the outside, it's easy to look at Sumin and have all the answers to her problems wrapped up. It's worth repeating she's tried to properly cut ties and move on repeatedly, but the brother physically torturing her, Seju stalking her and buying out everything around her, and the father offering propositions are not small events.

It's pretty obvious that after 10 years, Sumin is still haunted by, well, everything. And the fact that she literally spent a decade never addressing her problems head-on (on top of those events I mentioned above) severely retarded her progress.
>>
>>2320690
I agree, even if it looks like we're arguing . I think my original point was missed or i didn't communicate it properly
>>
I think we are all arguing the same point with a side of misunderstanding.
>>
>>2320667
I don't know, she seemed serious about redhead but bitch was married, she also was serious about Sungji and tried to stay completeley away from Seju in onder to start over with Sungji, but now with this living together it seems Sumin could fall for Seju again.
>>
>>2320774
That's how I also see it that she made an effort and not some soulless who sleeps with a different woman every day. Sumin who seemed at that time to be financially supported by Seju and Seju was always there when Sumin got heartbroken by another bitch.
>>
>>2320778
>Sumin who seemed at that time to be financially supported by Seju
I don't think that she was financially supported by Seju, Seju's just her boss and of course Sumin gets paid for her work. It would be weird to work for free
>>
>>2320782
How about the sports car and apartment?
>>
>>2320784
Your boss doesn't pay you that?
>>
>>2320787
Sugar mama does.
>>
I think Sumin is still very much in love with Seju as much as she hates to admit it which took her 10 years. Because even after saying she loves Sungji, why admit that she loves Seju too and then try to break it off cleanly just like that?

If she's really trying to get away from Seju, she should've just told her that Sungji is the only one she loves. When she admitted to Seju that she loves her too, she just added fuel to the fire (and a dying one at that). Seju is already losing hope but then Sumin went ahead and told her she loves her even when she's currently dating Sungji, who should be the only one she loves.
>>
>>2320784
She pays a rent, and intially she wanted to buy that apartment herself. New car on every bd seems like it some of Seju's weirdness, she wants to surround Sumin with things that physicly remind Sumin about her.
>>
>>2320790
That was honesty fucked up. Why would she say that she loves her when she's not doing it with her anymore. It doesn't make sense at all. Would you puke about someone you love when thinking about them? I don't think that's love. She's probably fucking with her head.
>>
>>2320792
They also mentioned entering a contract in the scene with the car. Is it possible the car was part of the contract?
>>
>>2320793
>Would you puke about someone you love when thinking about them
I actually puked when I admitted to myself I was in love with a bitch, soyes.
>>
>>2320790
I think it's possible to be in love with two people at the same time.
>>
>>2320793
Yes. Imagining your crush getting fucked by someone whom you can never compete physically with.
>>
She's in love with Sunji but part of her still loves Seju. Sumin was still very emotionally confused so obviously (to me) she wasn't thinking straight when she met up with Seju.
>>
>>2320803
>>2320806
I mean, I'm horrible at multi/doubletasking. What does it feel like thinking concentrating 100% on doing two things at the same time? Or It's more like you think of X at the moment and Y later?
>>
>>2320793
I read something about the difference between "love" and "like" in Korean. Basically the same way as 愛してる and大好き. Reading the free Japanese chapters, there was a part when they're having sex in which Seju said, "It seems like you're still in love with me", using 愛している. Any translator can clarify? I'd be damned (no more reason to support Sungji with Sumin) if Sumin's love for Seju is the 愛してる one.
>>
>>2320793
She puked because they weren't compatible sexually or more like she hated that kind of sex probably because of Seju too. Seju again.
>>2320803
That's true. But for me, she loves Seju more. She's just afraid to totally let her go that's why she's dragging her along like that. And it seems like she's trying really hard to forget Seju, even while dating Sungji which is like why? Shouldn't it just happen naturally that now that she found a new love (esp now with main girl Sungji), she'll eventually forget Seju. What makes Sungji different from the other girls she dated, aside from being pure and nice.

You've forgotten how Seju had attempted to sabotage Sumin's relationships repeatedly, haven't you?
>What makes Sungji different
Out of 31 times, this was the first time Sumin cried because of someone.
>how to forget someone
You can't until that person is out of sight, and out of your life. Moving to another part of country is part of that.
>>
>>2320808
If you had multiple kids would you love them unequally? I don't see any kind of love as a limited or scarce resource.

We all have a bias.
>>
>>2320812
Which basically means that we're back to square one.
>>2320814
Familial/platonic love =/= romantic love. Further more, I'm a childfree monogamist so this >>2320816 may explain why.
>>
>>2320815
Marry Sungji ASAP.
>>
>>2320813
Nope. Unfortunately I haven't forgotten about that. And didn't Sumin cry because of the redhead too, iirc. She was pretty into her too. And true, she wants to get Seju out of her life, but then wants to buy the house Seju previously owned, the same house they had sex everywhere repeatedly every now and then. Sumin's contradictory actions just don't make sense.
>>
>>2320818
As i said, no matter the type of love i don't see it as a scarce or limited resource.
>>
>>2320821
But that house is perfect. And it's close to Sungji's workplace, too. The meaningless sex they had when they were not officially shouldn't mean anything substantial, either.
>>
If it was impossible to love two people at the same time Polyamory wouldn't exist.... Anyway while i said it's possible it doesn't mean everyone does it or it happens often.

>>
>>2320829
Reminded me of when Sumin's taking a bath with that older silverhead.

Okay. My point is Sumin can't love two people at the same time, thus she's confused when the truth is she is only in love with only one of them.

Yes, she's fucking with both of them by saying she's in love with both of them. Saying "I love you" in Korean/Japanese is a big deal. You don't get to say that to two people that you want to spend the rest of your life with at the same time. What the hell is wrong with Sumin?

She has lingering feelings of love for her ex so get over it, it happens. She was emotionally confused when she told Seju she still loved her and while it wasn't fair to Seju she wasn't actively doing it to be a bitch.

The best thing you need to do when a relstionship has ended is to create space between you but we see that Sumin didn't get the chance and got dragged back into it via Seju's brother. Don't underestimate the effects of torture. She needs to be apart from Seju and given the chance without Seju or her families influence in her life.

Are you reading this for free? If so stop complaining.
>Similar character names
How come? Because their give name all start with "s"?
뱈세주
성수민
주성지
All I can see here is the first syllable of Sumin's given name is the same as Sungji's last name.

>similar appearances
Hair, boobs, clothes. Personalities. Aren't most other manga the same though? The character designs reflect beautiful realistic women of close age. I wouldn't pick this up if they're ugly.[/spoler] Although I should complain that sometimes their facial reactions are kind of abysmal.

>flashbacks
It's the situation at the moment which triggers her flashbacks accordingly. Brain is a weird thing. However I agree that apart from the main ones' flashbacks, the other ones' are worthless, especially Sungji's high school friend's.

>not your average high school romance
>gorgeous female protagonist and heroines
>better than citrus

>Addiction is a primary, chronic disease of brain reward, motivation, memory and related circuitry. Dysfunction in these circuits leads to characteristic biological, psychological, social and spiritual manifestations. This is reflected in an individual pathologically pursuing reward and/or relief by substance use and other behaviors.

I say give Sumin to Seju. Sungji is apparently so stunningly beautiful that men, women, children, elders, teachers, colleagues all succumb to her (based on flashbacks). And she's young. Her dating life has only just begun.

Sumin and Seju are ten years older, toxic to all those around them, and can't get over each other.

>her entire life
Like a parasitic creature? But humans aren't meant to be like that.
>>
>>2323536
I don't think it was ever really addressed. She never felt anything for anybody, male or female until Sumin. And we don't get to see her thoughts or interest in any other person (male or female) besides Sumin.

Sungji and Seju are alike in the sense that they've only ever loved Sumin and been deeply intimate with Sumin. I'm going to disregard Seju's time with the bartender and Sungji's time with Dawoon because those were both not... moments of sound mind.

To piggyback off a previous anon, Sumin is 120% lesbian. Seju and Sumin are Sumin-sexual since they've both only ever loved, thought about, expressed interest in, and been with Sumin. Though, I'd gather that Sungji could likely be bisexual.

I think Sungji did have some feelings to Dawoon, but was to immature to understand her feelings.

>>2323554
>platonic.
>>
>>2323544
>Seju parasite
Of course humans are not meant to be like that. But that's how Seju chooses to live her life. It's quite obvious that Seju's dependency and infatuation with Sumin is unhealthy, but it's understandable given the conditions Seju grew up in. Sumin was literally the only good thing in her life (according to Seju).

Everybody needs therapy.
>>
>>2323545
She seemed to have a moment with Dawoon in highschool. I think she's more likely the homosexual than Seju. I think Seju's bisexual I remember there was a chapter where it wasn't a bartender, some dude?
>>
>>2323557
Conclusions:
1. Sumin and Seju should not be together.
2. Therapy is not some magic pill, either.

If the three of them were in bed. Sungji wanted to sit on Sumin's pussy but Seju moved there first. Sungji's pissed but she has to kiss Seju. Bwahaha.
>>
>>2323531
I think we are reading this scene differently. She made Seju get up half an hour early so she could go see Sungji. If she wasn't going to see Sungji she wouldn't have had to make Seju leave half an hour early as alluded to by Seju herself in this scene. Therefore Sungji was the reason.

I don't know. I think Sungji just was never able to figure it out. She seems to have this very romanticized definition of love, which she couldn't ascribe to Dawoon. Hell, she still can't figure out what love means with Sumin. It was simply "love at first sight.

Back to Dawoon, it was difficult to reject her outright the way Sungji normally does because of their friendship. And in the car, after officially breaking up with Sumin, Sungji was trying to reject Dawoon but couldn't get the words out. Dawoon decided to push forward and tell Sungji to just try dating her, without thinking so much. Even later, proposing to her to just sex first, think later.

A bit off topic, but these three are so ridiculously fashionable. I look forward to seeing their different outfits each chapter. Sumin seems to rock business casual mostly. Seju is professional chic (I like the different ways she's been disguising her neck). And Sungji is all-around versatile, since we've seen casual, business, and date attire on her. Of the three, Seju is the only one that wears really fancy lingerie though.

Is Team Gaji a duo of fashion-minded women?

>>
>no kiss

>>
>>2323618
Oh, I was referring to individual therapy for each of them, since all three seem to have some deep-rooted problems they're internalizing.

Personally, I think all three of them should go their separate ways, but in terms of mitigating damage... probably better for Sungji to step away and let Seju/Sumin sort their shit out together. Since we're on the topic of therapy, fuck it, try couples therapy. I just don't see the Sumin/Seju drama/memories ever dissipating enough for Sungji to ever truly be happy with Sumin.
>>
>>2323616
Not gonna lie, tried Sumin's fashion style... lost all semblance of femininity. I ain't cute enough for any of their styles.

On Sungji's birthday, sister-in-law dressed her. She probably does supply a good amount of her clothes since she's obsessed with photographing Sungji. It'd be cute if she started dressing and photographing Sumin too.

Not Korean and never lived there, but if the things I've heard about their work and academic culture are true... then I believe that statistic. Very competitive and demanding culture. I believe Japan is similar. Unfortunate to hear the mental health services are subpar. I imagine there's a lot of stigma attached to it (much more so than in the United States).

Unnie, there is a mistake.

Sumin:
>"No! I came you see you Seong-ji."
"No! I came to see you Seong-ji."

>"How is here?"
"How is he?"

Seong-ji:
>"Team leader, your becoming a neet."
"Team leader, you [or: you are] becoming a neet."

>"[...] , but I had to come see you.."
"[...] , but I had to come to see you.."
If Iam mistaken here, then sorry.

"I have [or: would] been thinking about it."

Nothing big.
You do a great work.

So so, Sungji against Seju.
Sungji already gets a coffee from the new team leader.
So, the new team leader is a man.
And we all thought it was a woman.

Personal feelings aside, it's heartbreaking to see Seju so scared and traumatized. She woke up trembling. But during regular hours, she wears this false confidence. It can't be easy to know there's an assassin out there watching you (and your "weakness"). Also, being strangled with a garrot is fucking painful and horrifying, as evidenced by the scar.

If I wanted to be vindictive, I guess now Seju got a small taste of the torture Sumin went through... with added paranoia.
>>
Today is Sungjis birthday.

What does Sungji mean by the latest panel?
"If you would accept my compassion, then I'm okay with it." Or is it Seju saying?
>>
>>2323592

Thank you unnie. You really are the best out of here
>>
>>2323814
Seongji feels sympathy for her because of the situation she is in.
>>
>>2323743
>So, the new team leader is a man.

In Korean raw, the gender of new team leader is not specified. Sumin and Sungji just used the word "new team leader".
>>
>>2323647
Sumin is 10 years older than Sungji, it should be Sumin ssi or Sumin unnie at least.
>>
>>2323858
But they use "he" or is the translation wrong?
>>
Anyone think that the new team leader might be in cahoots with the assassin?
Seju was quite surprised that it was a man when she check the pappers a few chapters back and he's moving in on Sungji (coffee thing) but she gets coffee from a lot of people anyway so it could be a coincidence. Then again its Team Gaji after all though.
>>

>>
>>2324007
English really sucks at the lack of gender neutrality.
>>
>>2323814
I feel Sungji meant it in a more negative way. Like she pities Seju. So if Seju is all right living with Sumin, knowing that Sungji pities her (and possibly looks down on her), then she'll allow it.

Which of course Seju is going to be okay with. Girl's been through way worse. The ends justify the means.
>>
>>2323858
>>2323930
Well, if we're still not sure if the Team Leader's gender, then I say it *is* the assassin. But if it's male, then I'm going to also chime in and say he's in cahoots with the assassin for drama's sake.

Though, didn't the assassin finish her job? She was just hired to rough up Seju and put her in her place. Do they have confirmation that the assassin is still on the move or are they just being cautious?
>>
>>2324059
Exactly. This is exactly what Sungji meant.
'I feel pity on you, you pathetic ceo nim'.
>>
>>2324081
Agreed. Seju also appeared a bit taken aback as well. This is the second time that Sungji has surprised her with her bravado(?) First time was when she caught Seju/Sumin together. Actually, I believe she told Seju she pitied her then, too.
>>
>>2324063
If the assassin girl got the job done successfully once, I wouldn't leave her off the payroll. They're probably gonna keep her around to see if Seju makes any other moves (when the father dies) and probably take Sumin (Sungji may be getting caught in the crossfire) as leverage to get some money or whatever since they're all greedy and useless and Seju being the only success one the father probably left most of it to her.
>>
What I don't get is Seju's the CEO so she should have body guards everywhere. I'm sure she can afford top security services, etc.
>>
>>2324185
I agree with this completely.

>>2324193
I think I remember reading Seju's brother telling her that their own security force was not to be trusted?
>>
>>2324084
But apparently Seju doesn't give a fuck about that because as long as Seju gets Sumin at the end, none of these would matter.
>>
>>2324185
Seju should get stripped off from all the money. I want to see how she's gonna survive without money. What is she gonna buy for Sumin now?
>>
>>2324202

Then Sumin will surely help Seju. She won't turn a blind eye to a friend in need.
And this will make Sumin Sungji relationship more difficult.
>>
>>2324202
That'd be difficult since she built her own business and doesn't need the money her father would leave behind as stated in that chapter where siblings had a meeting over it.
>>
Btw, when did Sumin know that Seju was an illegitimate child and hated by her own family? Was it before they were 20?
>>
>>2324463
Sumin and Seju were like the only one the other ever had so it'd be strange for Sumin to not know about that.

After reading the latest chapters, I've realized that I won't be upset if Sumin ends up with either woman. In fact, I currently find myself wanting Sumin to get back with Seju. But I know that's only because, to me, it's like the Sumin and Sungji love story is over; it should have been a wrap by now, even though the story didn't feature Seju as much as it featured those two. It's not exciting anymore; the only exciting thing about the story for me now is Seju trying to get Sumin back. If the writers want Sumin and Sungji to be endgame, it's not a good sign when a Sumin and Sungji shipper starts to want Sumin and Seju together (unless, of course, the shipper was always for either couple). By this, I mean that I was very much for Sumin and Sungji being together. Early on, I couldn't imagine the writers having Sumin and Seju end up together. This is because they built up the Sumin and Sungji love story from the beginning; there was more to observe and root for with that story than there was/has been for the Sumin and Seju love story. But lately? Man, I'm feeling like Sumin and Seju are endgame. Sumin looked absolutely panicked when she thought Seju was in trouble..only to find that devilish, sexy woman in the bath (no doubt waiting for her).

I'm the poster who expressed the view that the writers might be setting up something to state that Sungji cares more about Sumin's appearance than Sumin as a person; I'm no longer on that theory, though

As for Sungji saying that a face like Sumin's face is all over the streets, I laughed when Sumin joked about that, but I don't think it's true. With the way that Sungji and other people have reacted to Sumin's beauty, I don't think her face is all that typical.

As for a threesome or polyamory, it wouldn't work with these three, where jealousy and insecurity abound. And I don't think polyamory usually works. Being in a relationship with multiple people doesn't mean you're in love with them all or love them all equally.
>>
>>2326203
I agree with everything you said. Couldn't have said it better. If the endgame is Sungji, then it doesn't seem like they're building towards it anymore. Feels definitely more like they're setting up for Seju endgame now. But this whole manhwa has been a rollercoaster.

Sincerely,
Also formerly Team Blonde, now Team Pink

Well I can't see Sumin coming back to Seju. She's slowly moving on, working hard to earn Sungji's trust again while Seju is kind of going backwards. We know she'll survive the ending, the question is what will happen to her if she won't end up with Sumin. My bet is -she'll leave the country.

2 months left until the story ends so it's not nearly enough time to make Sumin and Seju heal their relationship anyway. Not after 10 years of constant pain and poison. Not to mention, Sungji made it clear she's not giving up and Sumin made promises to her. If the author force Sumin and Seju back, it'll make no sense at all and it'd make Sungji not important. Which would be a contradiction to what we've seen since she saw Seju topping Sumin.

Cuz Bella was even more worse of a character than Sumin. No, I'm being too mean to Sumin, Simin at least has a character, isn't good one, but still. Bella on other hand didn't have much of a character, just your typical love interest.

I don't get why people root for her and Sumin when their relationship is bound to never be the same. Love's a fragile little flame and theirs burned out a long time ago.
